adding the rim of morning to my list bc it sounds very interesting from yr description -- thanks! always happy to see people get into baldwin, lispector and ernaux. my suggestions for other ernaux are: passion simple, la place & une femme

read "The woman's story" from Annie Ernaux! Loved it it's so amazing i bought it for my mom right away! I read it in a caffe and cried shamelessly lmao. Simple passion is also good she didn't die yet lmao
