Nice overview. One thing I’d add is that the barrel cap is the same thread diameter as the gspec barrel cap with the same pitch however it is ccw vs cw for the gspec cap and the Marui l96. You can buy the adapter from him but the standard ones aren’t going to fit. I’d say it’s an improvement because trying to tighten a ccw suppressor on an adapter mounted with a cw thread is super annoying because one thread will always try to loosen when you tighten the other one.
If anyone wanted to know, the SSG10 piston fits perfectly in the Airsoftpro Cylinders despite their website advising to use only their branded parts. Thanks to this video, I confirmed the SSG10 piston to be a few mm smaller than the actual Airsoftpro piston.
great video! sad to see some of those parts won't switch out! glad I have some bar 10s fully upgraded. I was going to buy ssg outer barrel for my bar 10 but it looks slightly loose. that piston/cylinder size is also a shame for ssg owners. I will be buying a new spring from him though. I love 13mm springs for easier pull!!! Currently use a pdi 520 and it's great but I want 650 fps so the 200% spring from him looks to be about perfect. maybe the 210...

Great video. But turns out that the comparability of the bolt handles is a total bummer for me. I was going to buy a SSG10 a1 and turn it into a DARPA XM3 clone build but now that seems it's out the window since I cannot put a classic JG BAR 10 bolt handle on it and use a Remington 700 Black Bolt On Quick Load Knob Tactical Knob
So can I just use a Ssg10 noverisch full cyllinder assembly and swap it into the JG bar 10? I want all my guns to be VSR compatible. You said there is some friction. Would you advise against it in this case or is it no big deal? Amazing video by the way!! Answered all my questions.
It’s kinda hard for me to buy the Novritsch replacement screw set cuz I’m in Canada and it would cost around 40$ to get. However, I could buy the maple leaf reinforced body pins for like 8$ but I’m afraid that they won’t fit. It says that there JG bar 10 compatible though. So if you the bar 10 middle body screw is compatible with the SSg10 then the maple leaf screws should work as well. Btw, The screw in the middle on my SSg10 A1 is the one that’s striped. Could you buy any chance see if the bar 10 middle body screw fits in the ssg10? It would help a lot and would save me a lot of money. Thanks so much!
Don't worry about the o-ring that got damaged on the SSG10 Read under "O-ring fell out" - eu.novritsch.com/support/ssg10/troubleshooting/ Problem Description A big O-ring fell out of my gun when I took of the outer barrel. I have no idea where it is supposed to be installed. Reason: This o-ring goes in between the receiver and Outer barrel. It is there for mass production and for ease of the assembly process as it helps to center the Outer barrel in the receiver before the thread grips. After a couple of assemblies and disassembles by the customer, it will fall out and might even be broken. Solution Throw it into the trash. This part has no function once the gun is assembled. We will not put this ring into the SSG-10 starting from batch#3 as it seems to confuse customers too much.
@@5cmpersec If you were to swop the hopup chamer plus bucking and the inner barrel from the SSG10 into the BAR10, do you think you will be able to get similar performance to a SSG10?
Airsoft Sniper if those parts were to be swapped the accuracy and consistency should be same as a ssg10. However the durability of trigger group and cylinder/ piston are going to be quite poor for 450fps+.
Hi ...just a quick question does the maple leaf stock fit the ssg10 because there are rumors that it doesn't fit on the mag catch and hop up ? hove you tried it?
Nice video...hope you can answer my question. I have a VSR 10 from TM (Pro version). I wanted to buy the novritsch SSG 10 outer barrel (short version)...is it compatible? I know I will have to replace the inner barrel as well...do you recommend one in particular?
I personally have not tried the barrel on a actual TM VSR10 but I think the barrel thread pitch are the same. It should fit but I suggest research a bit more to get a definitive answer. For inner barrel I suggest going with lambda one 303mm vsr inner barrel.
BATTLE AIRSOFT España I wouldn’t say he lied intentionally as you can still make it fully compatible by swapping a few parts if you want much like how some other aftermarket parts do not work with stock VSR parts either due to tolerance and design. Like you can’t use 90degree trigger without a aftermarket 90 degree piston, you can’t use action army piston with stock cylinder, and you can’t use action army cylinder without using action army end cap etc.
