Kinda same with me, I started playing Honkai star rail because of Clara&Svarog (I just think they're pretty cool but holy snap Dr Ratio is OP af) and got tired of grinding in Genshin :/ do wonder if Genshin impact would have a competition against Wuthering waves... hopefully so that Hoyoverse will finally get their sh*t together
4:36 *Some* bosses are tough, even with good characters (I'm thinking of Argenti and the big creature that Ruan Mei created or whatever it was). As an autistic person myself, I assure you that you're fine. I invest a lot of ressouces (not money) into the characters I love but I focus more on healers than shielders/whatever Fu Xuan is labeled as. March is a great shielder, I've heard Gepard can do good too so I'm gonna build him later. I wished we had more 4☆ shielders.
I like Honkai: star rail better than genshin because I can actually understand the plot and it’s very simple. The gacha system for light comes is better, but for me battles may/may not be as time consuming as genshin
I got bored playing genshin like 2 or 3 years ago. But playing hsr is really fun. Since it's just a turn based rpg game and very unique (imo) So glad I didn't continue playing it lol
If someone's bored and looking for a new fun ftp friendly game to try i recommend identity 5 :') And hsr is absolutely better but i just wanna boycott hoyoverse tbh
@@smoggo idv can be really fun and addictive but its a horror game inspired by dead by daylight but censored (for china) and much cuter (the gacha part is costumes), there's also lore and a ranked mode, plus other modes like instead of 1v4 u can do 2v8 etc... PS NICE VIDEO
The one thing I like about HSR (and subsequently other turn-based RPGs) is that they respect your time. You don't need to hang around and play for hours on end to progress your game. Sure you need to sit down and work through the story and quests from time to time but they hardly take much time. They also don't timegate their most of the story related events so you can clear them in one go. In Genshin you basically need to spend hours upon hours of playing to even get to the same amount of progress you get in HSR. For example: material farming. In Genshin you have to run around the world finding the specific items to be collected. Those items are limited in number and some reset in one day, other in two days. In HSR, you can obtain most of the materials required to level characters just by doing your daily grind (Relic farming and Trace farming gets you those specific items as well as the basic leveling materials), which you can just let it auto battle while you go do something else.
@@smoggoto be honest I’ve been boycotting, not just cause of the rewards though. Genshin really ruined my mental health so I stopped playing a few weeks ago and now I feel great
Honkai kind of has a Painmon with Pom-Pom, but he knows his place and stays on the train so he's not nearly as annoying as a whiny chattermouth who NEVER STOPS FOLLOWING YOU and insists on doing all your talking for you.
I quit Genshin a while ago, I got bored too easily. Thankfully HSR has better devs that use their potential, unlike whatever Cai Haoyu does with his game
theres absolutly nothing to do in genshin , i understand if u use resin and do your dailies but come on man, the only thing recently they added is a dialogue cooking event for 60 primos.
I know it was a joke about getting five stars every 2 minutes, but it can technically be mentioned that genshin did *technically* get a 5 star for free (Aloy), but I totally see what you mean. Also people keep talking about Honkai constantly giving out free wishes, but I think those genshin players don't understand that its more or less necessary otherwise the playerbase won't be able to pull ever since there is limited exploration
@@smoggo maybe so, (I dont have her so I don't know how bad she is) but I see what you mean, Dr. Ratio is actually pretty strong compared to the pile of poo that genshin got with Aloy
