Anand proves that he still got the moves. Like that rook move to trap the queen was totally awesome. Felt bad for Korobov though. He is in a very good form.
@@pahularora9642 yeah right and that had nothing to do with the title and the fact that agad asked us to find the best move for white, there is no-one there for Anand to give him a clue xD
@@Paddyspalace yes, I am aware of the process but I guess there is a moment in chess history when that happened e.g. when Capablanca faced the first Marshall attack
I would be curious to see you cover a game by Stepan Tretyakov. He is currently ranked 34 on blitz on chess.com as an untitled player at 2991 in a sea of GM's. His FIDE rating is only 1900. He is accused of being a flagger, and is apparently an 18 year old. Nonetheless I think what he has accomplished is impressive, and is curious, so perhaps it would be good for a video.
The queen isnt trapped if black plays rouge c6, and after it is captured eigther by the pawn or the rouge you play queen h4 and eigther win at least the bishop for the rouge or have some counterplay via f2. What am i missing? Havnt used an engine so please have merci with me ^^
Levon won the tournament as Anand went for 4 straight draws holding the third position in the tournament. Sergey was 2nd . Mr. Lee from Vietnam was fourth. Disappointed for fabi as he was the last and his GCT points were not enough to make it to London, so we won't see fabi in the London.
At 5:46 when Agad says the rook has nowhere to go it seems Rxd6 is ok. The knight is hanging but white can't capture because of the back rank mate threat.
Please consider not putting the picture of the winner in the beginning .. I you already know who own either you tend to concentrate on the moves made by the guy or loose interest. keep it as a surprise .!
Oooooooooooooo... Nicee find.. at first i thought after rook c6 , white can simply take queen with its rook. But no. If white takes queen than black can checkmate with rook c1
no.. then comes ng6+ and you have to move king and giveup the exchange.. otherwise if you capture the knight then comes bxg7+ and your queen is gone.. so no Queen can't capture pawn on d5
Maybe there are people that found different lines/ideas/general concepts present in this game that weren’t discussed in this particular analysis because this analysis mainly focuses on engine lines?
one thing that i think you can improve in your analysis, is you usually when analyzing a sacrifice, you start by analyzing what it threatens, not what happens when you accept it. In this example, the rook to c8 is trapping the queen, but the obvious reply is what happens when you capture it, that's the first thought that comes to my mind when analyzing a move, not what it can do. it always seems to me, that i'm waiting for the end of your analysis of a move to understand why it is a good sac, instead of paying attention to what you mention first, then i come back and see what you mentioned first. just my 2 cents
