Finding out that Tink is dating Youngburg a.k.a. Hitmaka is very interesting because if you all remember, he was the one that went viral years ago for saying he don’t date “dark butts”, referring to dark skin women. Then when Power was at its peak, he also came out talking about Naturi Naughton saying that he had sex with her during her 3LW days. And he was talking shit about the sexual encounter he had with her. He made a lot of colorist statements under the Yung Berg moniker and I guess he figured changing his name to Hitmaka would equate to us forgetting his face 🙄

This series is EVERYTHING! Thank you for this! I wonder if the Best Man will come up (I still say Harper was trash. I don't even understand how he was chosen as the best man because other than being the reason Mia and Lance met minutely trying to keep Lance accountable), he really didn't do ANY of the best man duties. Since becoming an adult and revisiting my favorite movies, I've realized that Quentin was actually the best friend and should have been the best man. He planned the bachelor's party (which was at his family's hotel as was the wedding reception). He kept Lance from throwing Harper off the ledge, tried to put it in Lance's mind early on that even if Mia did cheat (as Q knew she did), that was well within her rights and that she was still a good girl.

Great show as always Bondy! I've been watching Martin from the beginning and now that I'm grown, Martin's character was very misogynistic, selfish, immature and a gaslighter lol But he was also charismatic, funny, loving, and stood on his square on the things he believed in. Keep it going Bondy!

I first saw this movie at the $1.50 movie theater when i was 15 years old. Rewatching this movie as an adult i’ve come to the realization that Darnell got what he deserved. Brandi warned him, His mama & Smitty also tried to warn him of his womanizing ways. The only mature men in this movie were Smitty & Reggie. Guys sided with Martin because he was the biggest comedian at the time. Can we please get NTWG on the following movies: Do The Right Thing House Party House Party 2 Talkin Dirty After Dark Bad Boys

Hey Bondy! Great review! I can definitely relate because I've been dogged really bad before and it really shaped how I have such a hard time trusting men and how I look at them. It's just really fucked up how we're the ones who dogged out, used and abused and then when we snap, everybody want to act like we're the bad guys like you said Bondy! Loved this review! I didn’t watch the movie until I was an older teenager and the 2nd viewing was during my early yrs of the Air Force (that’s the same branch Mia was in cause I recognized her blues and rank from what I was wearing at the time). From personal experience, I can attest to going home on leave and running into an ex or a nobody who wants to pursue me because they missed out or saw the glow up from me being in the military (still to this day, too). Mia had to have been on a 4yr enlistment; I’ve seen folks go back and forth about re-uping, either pushing through or getting out-that’s real life but I wish Mia would’ve stayed in/left his ass.
