The area I work in has a lot of homeless people and I want to help them but I just don't make enough money. I would love to do what you do for others. The only profit I would receive is knowing that I was able to help and put a smile on someone's face.
Honestly, I can't wait for my first paycheck so that I can donate to your wonderful cause. I've been watching your videos and supporting that way, but I know I can do more when I personally have more.
@@rustyshackleford1910 there's only so many houses programs, for thousands of homeless. Unfortunately, not all are ready to leave the streets, for whatever reason. I saw one where a homeless woman was refusing to go to the shelter. She said every time...she gets everything stolen, and has even been SA'd😢 People like Nate, and others that try to help the homeless, they don't have the means to get everyone off the street...but they do have the means to keep them warm, get some food in their stomachs, and give them something to sleep in. He has links where you can donate. Each little bit helps!
It's the Catholics the Catholic Church always controlled land lots historically so the fact that there are any homeless it means that the Catholic church is punishing them!
@@mr.annoying9453 I agree with you when it comes to saying that it is hypocritical to film yourself helping others and donating. I don't like these videos either and don't think you should tell anyone when you donate. But: My comment refers to the fact that you condemned this homeless man and said that it is his fault that it is homeless. This statement is wrong. In German there is a saying: Everyone holds to his own nose. Work hard, live your life and reap what you have sown, but do not judge other people. Because you don't understand a person until you have lived his life. Do you understand what I mean?
@@mr.annoying9453 Still in edgy phase? I mean me too. But does recoring of the good deed lessen it a bit? Yes. Was the good deed still done? Yes. He's sleeping fine with a new canvas, sleeping bag, and coat! When you live like that, the little things give you hope. I bet he was thanking that man, and Jesus for bringing him to him all night long, rather than being beaten and thrown in jail for the thousandth time...
@Pp Ss as a guy who has been there, I feel his pain. When I was in that position I was always taught not to show weakness. However I did one day and it changed my life. I didn't cry for me, I cried because I thought I would never have a family to look after. 10years this may (2023) I'm happy to say I have a wife and a son who is 7yo. I'm happy now, but the struggle almost killed me. I was qualified as a electrician and got my grades but was kicked out of the house for something I didn't even do (house party when my mom was away). It was rough, but I met these people and they made me if I'm honest.
poor man, thank you for helping this man, i try to help out where i can - went to dunkin donuts to get some coffee - bought the person behind my their morning coffee, spread the love
As he would. He probably doesn't have someone on a regular basis talk to him like a child of God. You think being homeless will make them unappreciative. It's the people that have a lot that would not be appreciative because of their pride.
It blows my mind that America is seemingly a first world country and a third in so many ways. In the U.K. a vulnerable individual like this would be helped by the government, we don’t just let senior and special needs people be homeless. Granted it’s not perfect, and not as good as other Skandinavien countries but there is help there.
@@jessH090 i’ve seen multiple RU-vidrs from the UK go out to give care packages to the homeless people in their communities and probably about 80% of the time those individuals are elderly, or very, obviously, mentally disabled. Just because you don’t see, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist
@@jessH090 yeah our country is pretty half ass about helping our elderly. We have shelters and they suck. We have food pantries and social security, benefits like Medicare and food stamps. But no affordable senior housing. So once someone gets on to the streets it's very difficult to get the help of all of those benefits. We need more money for social workers and homeless outreach to help these people get back into the system. SS isn't enough to pay today's rent. We have some low income housing but it's not enough and it's in rough neighborhoods, not a place for older single people. Women with children get first dibs on housing, single men are last on the list for help. Seeing men like this just breaks my heart, we work our whole lives and get thrown away when we're old. The system sucks.
He felt like a human for the first time in a long time. Being homeless is like being treated like a broken cinderblock. Stepped over and ignored. Kicked around and always in the way. Bless you for what you do!
My parents had a plaque on the wall that read, “I had no shoes and complained, until I met a man who had no feet.” I remember as a young boy asking my dad what it meant, and after hearing the explanation, I have always thought of that plaque anytime I’ve found myself feeling sorry for myself, and I’m now past 70. Just goes to show the power of a few well chosen words.
My grandmother had a plaque hanging in her hallway that read "if I can do good let me do so, for I shall not walk through this life again " you are so right, words can stay with you throughout your life.
@@pedazodetorpedo What on Earth would cause you to draw such a conclusion about my entire childhood based on one simple paragraph? Can’t wait to hear your explanation, especially what precisely in that comment would cause anyone to laugh out loud.
Its so sad that we can only help a few and not help others or make them more places to live so we can cln up the streets my heart goes out to you and others out there
@@raiban0 I ended up on drugs after everyone I had helped in my family messed up with rent and electric left homeless after getting us the place and paying 25% by my mother who moved a guy in and wanted to party.

@@AlyshaDellsitewhat state if you don't mind my asking? Here in Jersey, I know some homeless people who actually try to travel to warmer states once November hits. Such a harsh reality
This is so sad to see all the homeless people in the street ,this is America, this shouldn't happen, thankfully there are still good people to help the less fortunate ,thank you for spreading kindness
You can tell this poor soul was starving and could only focus on getting food. Even so he was still grateful and remembered to give thanks. I pray that his situation improves. God bless you.
I remember being homeless with 2 little kids aged then 2 and under 1 and not being able to have good shelter cause the shelters didn't take kids under 5. A lady who had me do yard work for money decided to put me up in a hotel for 2 days, made sure I had food and diapers. Then contacted her aunt who was part of an Amish communities they were looking for helpers. I got room, board and food in exchange for me helping around the farm for 8 months. It was a godsend. I still send all of them and that lady letters and holiday cards letting them know how we are doing. My kids are now 11 and 9
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Keep fighting for those baby's and most importantly don't forgot to fight for yourself with you're children in vision, God bless you all
Its hard to ask for what you actually need when no one has ever asked you before. It feels like anything you ask for is too much and a bother. It's hard to understand if you've never felt it.

When you live like that, a new tent, sleeping bag, and clothes are amazing. When you reach that point there are so many barriers to re-entry to society.
The way he looked up when you asked if he needed a jacket.. you can just tell he was so happy you knew what he needed and he didn't have to ask for anything more! Love seeing you help people❤
He also was very hesitant to ask for anything. He is a good person that somehow got lost on a different track in life. I am so happy he helped him out even a little bit.

You don’t know that. Your literally making that up. Many people make different choices that sometimes lead to bad endings. My biological father is on the streets because everyone who enabled him is now dead and gone - that’s what happens . Plenty of opportunities for help and change yet said no every time. You make your bead now you have to lie in it
@@thespicyonion I hope you can learn to forgive him some day. Many do drugs to try and deal with mental problems or trauma, and certain people's brains are much more likely to become an addict, so I hope you don't hate on him too badly for that. My dad was a massive drunk and was pretty handsy, so I understand. It took me a long time to forgive him, and honestly I'm not sure I have completely, but I do know that life is rough and that everyone has their weaknesses. ❤️
@@thespicyonion I’m no psychologist, but you seem to be angry, hurt and in pain from the things that happened to you in your life. No one knows why or what made this man the way he is, but you know what, it’s not our job to judge. Either help him or be on your way. Jesus dealt with a lot of different types of people from thieves to prostitutes, but you know what he didn’t do? He didn’t judge nor condemn them. People have layers to them and it may take years for you to understand them. This act of kindness towards this man may have been the help he needed to push forward. He probably was thinking of ending his life but the generosity of this man towards him gave him a new lease on life. Kindness will heal a thousand broken hearts. Peace❤
When you are truly hungry, you can't think about anything else. He was told, "I can buy you anything " and his response was genuine....."food". Glad you helped this man. Love your content and your kind nature.

There is no shame in poverty but shame in pride, there is blessing in kindness and grace to testify it as long as it is not for purpose of self praising.
Wherever she is at I think I can say his mother deeply appreciates your kindness. I can’t even imagine my child, whether young or old, being in this position. Is makes my mama heart weep.
I had tears running down my face. It's a crime to see the elderly homeless. This dear old gentleman is at rockbottom, at the end of his life. Alone on a roadside, unkempt, dirty in the middle of bloody nowhere. He deserves so much better. Thank you so very much for all those wonderful, caring things you did for him that day. You not only gave him things he desperately needed and spent time with him, you gave him back his dignity through simple kindness. I wish there were more people like you in the world. Best wishes always.
My heart, he was once somebody's baby and likely somebody's father and husband. This old man was just down on his luck and it warms my heart to see you help him. It always brings me to tears to see how happy people are over some food. I've been very lucky that I've been food secure for about the last 6 years. I remember what that was like and I never want to go through it again and that's why I try to help people whenever I can. No one should have to go hungry. Food and shelter should be a right, not a privilege.
Yep & if you go up to an attractive young lady & ask the same question I can bet the reply would be. Give me 5 mill bucks because I deserve it or a man that makes 10 mil a year minimum.
@@DespaceManactually it has nothing to do with gender so check yourself. if you watch enough of these or actually see it for yourself, you'll see men and women both who are like this man and of course you'll see BOTH men and women who are still entitled. stop trying to attribute negative qualities to one gender.

When you have a son thats lost his life in this way, and is a zombie an a shell o the person they used to be, you have to realize its out of your reach as a parent to possibly help them anymore and they will only hurt you and your life and LET THEM GO.
This just breaks my heart. This older gentleman could be someone's grandpa or father. ...he seems like a nice person who could use someone to help him out.😥😔
I want to cry. He asked for food and was even barely able to do that. His mind was in a fog, a haze. Showing him attention, caring for him woke him up a little and he regained focus. The absence of love and another human being caring for him brought him back to the present and right before us, he started to regain the ability if human contact.
The way he looks you in the eyes and grabs your hand when he shakes it, shows me he means every bit of emotion he’s showing you. He’s genuinely grateful and will never forget you
Lol you people see whatever yourube has trained you to want to see. There was literally no thoughts passing through his drug addled brain when he gave the handshake. It was literally human instinct from his years before homelessness. This man has done so many drugs that he doesn't even remember what drugs are. He's literally on auto pilot
@@Mike-pn8ln You have absolutely no idea what this guy's story is. It is disgusting that he is on the streets when our country has so much money. He is an older man, hungry and exhausted and should be treated with more dignity and respect from society in general.

See, most people don't have a father thanks to the feminist leaning court system that gives woman child custody 92% of divorce cases. The Father is demonized in society and eith divorce rate near 60%, 80% of the time divorce initiated by women, men become a slave to alimony and child support. He doesn't have any money left over to live himself, often times living in cars, or on the street, or suicide..suicide rate is 10x higher than that of a divorced woman.
