You are amazing. I had my ID stolen earlier this year. I received death threats to me and my family. I have a mental illness. This sent me into depression and later I overdosed and spent ten days in hospital. They stole over $170,000 from the Australian Tax Department in my name. I still receive the occasional letter from them. They were reported to all the necessary people. Police, Scamwatch, ATO, Federal Police, FBI, and my bank. I had to change banks and buy a new phone. I was terrified for months that they would come and kill me. I'm working hard now to put it behind me. Thank you for the work you are doing helping innocent people reclaim their lives. ❤ I am Von from MANNUM South Australia.

You are awesome for doing this. I live in Croatia and today I received a phone call from someone representing as Croatian police department telling me that my ID was used in money laundering. The funniest thing is that a guy speaking English with an Indian accent was telling me this lol (native language here is Croatian). I hung up. Anyways, that frustrated me to the bone so I ended up on your channel looking at your video to get the satisfaction of a karma. I want to do what you do, really admire your work.

@@PhyllisGlassup2TheBrim There's only so much you can do to explain. I always remind them but sometimes they believe they won an ipad or an iphone. I cannot fathom their ignorance to the internet and not believing their younger family members. My only choice i was left with, was if their devices are infected, I will not troubleshoot it, and I will not let them use the internet from the home wifi. Seems to work for now.

It's very difficult when they lose their judgment. We repeatedly told my mother not to give out information on the phone it finally she learned to just hang it up. We're not answer if she didn't recognize the number. But they get very stubborn when they're older. My father didn't want to give up the car keys and he couldn't see very well. When they moved to Florida he didn't pass the vision test so we didn't have to fight that anymore. My mom didn't want to give up the car later and she didn't have a cell phone. I told her, you can hardly walk what happens if the car breaks down and you're out in the 95 degree without a phone?

this makes me so happy a while ago my mother got a call and they said she was going to get arrested for something i wasn't really aware of what was happening back then but my mom was panicking. seeing her like that made me sacred, they made her spend 14 thousand dollars on gift cards and sending money to accounts. After this event happened my mom was traumatized and stayed in the house for 1 month without going outside. The work you do here truly makes a difference.

I worked in a banking industry for 15 years and some of the customers would get scammed by people from India, Mexico, and Nigeria. We educate our customers on these types of scam. i hate it that they are targeting the elderly, i had to stop my father from making a huge mistake he said that the bank emailed him stating that they had an accident with the servers so they were calling every member of the bank to give them their info so they could reinstate your bank membership. the scammers try to sound as authentic as possible.

Unfortunately, from my experience, particularly older people, no matter how often you try to tell and explain them, will still fall for it the next time. They just seem to not have this natural distrust to specific things. When "the bank" writes them an email, well... it's from the bank and legit.

The banking industry can also do much better. This is what happened to my mom: who had an account with a MAJOR US bank: they somehow tricked her into giving them the code to reset the password to her online banking. They changed her password, activated wire transfer function, added a payee and wired all of her funds out within 5 minutes. I found out after half hour and the bank did nothing and money was lost. Now, my mom is a 67 year-old immigrant (I’m an immigrant myself), only received my deceased dad’s pension the first of the month and spent it in ordinary things. She never made a wire transfer in her life. How come the activating of wire transfer function, adding a new payee and wiring all of her money out didn’t raise a single red flag?

Being cyberbullied for years. this is so encouraging. it gives me hope that mine will soon be traced and arrested. it is painful to do things in old way where I have to walk to the bank even if I don't or there is no need to, but I can't have banking apps, they are here with me all the time.

These videos are funny and all but what happens after their location is revealed? Nothing. The scam centers are protected by the local government. This is why Pieroga only makes videos instead of sending the information to the authorities to shut them down

I became a victim of a phishing last week and lost USD 6,000 a scammer from Kazakhstan. Cried for 2 days, it was half of my savings during the past 5 years. The police is on it but I have little hope they will succeed. I found this channel and wow we need our taxes to go these guys. They're doing God's work.

Funny how my incoming scam calls stop 2 days before you guys post a video like this, the calls well stop for a week to a month. You and your team are awesome! I have even got calls where I'll stop and say... "Can you hold just a second I need to ask Pierogi something." And they hang up, and they don't call back.

I was just at my UPS Store and was telling the manager about this channel. She said they had someone who was trying to mail $15,000 to a scammer. It took some convincing, and with help from a woman at their bank, they finally convinced the person to not send the package. The word is definitely getting out there.

As well as repeating their address, tell them you also have the grid coordinates for a drone strike. Ok it isn't going to happen but there has been enough stuff on the news that you will get them thinking about the possibility of it happening.

I just had an idea. If you had access to their devices and could get a hold off their mothers number you could set it up that they, instead of calling a victim, they end up calling their mothers. Would be really interesting to see their mothers find out where their sons money comes from.

As a police officer I deal with these types of calls all the time. In fact, occasionally they even call the police line!!!! But sadly, we don’t have the time to deal with it, especially considering that it is highly unlikely that anyone will ever face prosecution in a foreign country where 99.9% of these scams originate. Wish I had someone like this working for us though!!!!

I just got scammed! Stupidly bought 2 folding strollers from a Facebook ad, don’t know what I was thinking! What I got in the post is a cheap plastic necklace, so they can say they delivered against their tracking.
