Hi Leo! I wanted to let you know, (and this will be long, so I apologize), just how special you are to me. I've been watching a video of yours every single night and from all 3 of your channels for about 6 months now. I love to laugh, and you absolutely do that when you react to a movie or music video! I have a very special sister I lost to cancer, after a very strong fight, in 2007 when she was 48. in 1990, I had a 6-year-old son, Taylor, and was pregnant with my daughter, Kalley Dlite! On April 25, 1990, I gave birth to this special little girl who stole my heart the first time I heard her heartbeat and felt her move. Well, she didn't only steal my heart but my sister's as well!! After 4 weeks off, I went back to work, and Kathy watched Kalley. I wouldn't trust anyone else but her which some people had a hard time with because.... Kathy was born premature and deaf! She couldn't hear Kalley, but she never took her eyes off of her. Best babysitter in the world. What's even crazier is Kalley's first language is sign language (ASL). Kathy would bring her home after I got off work and mind you, she's 4 months old, and asks me, her MOTHER, for cookies and milk....in SIGN LANGUAGE! I tried to explain to her that I could hear but it took almost a year, if not longer, to convince her that everyone else we know could hear. Kalley wasn't much of a talker growing up and I believe it's because she was with Kathy more than anyone else!! Lol! So, my husband gets a promotion, and we move to Alabama. Guess who moved there too? Yep, Aunt Kathy!! We originally lived in Pine Bluff, AR where Kathy lived too. After a year in Alabama, we moved to Mountain Home, AR where I grew up and I knew all the schoolteachers, so it was a wonderful place for my kids to be raised in. So, guess who moved to Mountain Home, AR? Yep, Aunt Kathy, only this time she bought the house right next door to ours! I noticed after a couple of years, people were coming up to me at the stores and restaurants saying, oh we met your beautiful niece, Kalley! I was so confused!!! Turns out, whenever Kathy took Kalley somewhere, she would tell them she was Kalley's mother! My sister and I have very dark brown eyes and so does Kalley so no one really questioned her and Kalley was her interpreter (at age 4), so why wouldn't they believe a 4-year-old??! Well, I had to sit both of them down and tell them they weren't telling people the truth and it needed to stop. Kathy wasn't very happy, but I think Kalley understood why. About 2 weeks after that conversation, a teacher I knew who didn't teach Kalley's grade, called me and told me that Kalley was telling everyone she had two mommies. So, that caused a whole different situation...everyone who didn't know us thought we were a gay couple, which is fine, but we weren't.... WE WERE SISTERS!!! LOL! Okay, I think you get the picture of just how close they were. Remember, my husband was only home 10 weeks a year for 12 years, and he started this job overseas when Kalley was 7 months old. I told you all of this to tell you that when we found out Kathy had terminal cancer and had about 3 years to live, it was super hard on Kathy and Kalley. It was hard for all of us but especially them, although you'd never know it by looking at them. They started Hospice Care in January of 2007 and we moved Kathy into our house which was easier on her and Kalley and me. My parents and my other sister would come up when they could and help but it was mostly Kalley and me. The night of April 25, 2007, was a very strange evening. It was Kalley's 17th birthday and when she came home from school, Kathy sang in sign language and with her voice, Happy Birthday, to Kalley as best as she could. This was the very first year Aunt Kathy didn't make Kalley's birthday cake, which was really sad. So the day got even weirder because after Kathy sang to Kalley, Kalley said she was really tired and was going to bed. It was 6 p.m. and that child NEVER went to bed before 11! Another strange thing was Kathy did not want me to help her change into her pajamas which we did every single night. She also didn't want to wear her oxygen and I called the Hospice Nurse, and she said one night without it was fine. She didn't want me to turn her lamp next to the bed off either. She basically told me to just get out of MY room and let her go to sleep. This was at 10:10 p.m., so I did. I had a baby monitor in there in case she needed me and at 10:30 p.m., just 20 minutes later, I checked on her and her lamp was still on and she had one sock off. Other than that, it looked like she just laid back and went to Heaven....on Kalley's 17th birthday. I called my parents who lived 2 hours away and they picked up my other sister and got to my house around 12:30 a.m. I called my neighbor across the street and her and her husband stayed with me until the Hospice people came and took Kathy away. They did allow me to lay next to her in the bed for about 30 minutes and I just laid as close as I could get to her and cried but I'm so thankful they allowed me to do that. It's been a long, heartbreaking 17 years but every evening you make me laugh and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate every video you make. Some nights I really didn't think I'd make it but a quick phone call to my baby girl and one of your videos was all i needed! You have a wonderful gift of making people laugh and you're really pretty cute!! Lol! Kathy would have loved watching your videos too and I believe she watches them with me and we laugh together! Thank you for making my life happy again and don't ever forget how many people you are probably helping to make it through one more night!! God bless you, Leo, and all of your family! Please keep up the wonderful, fun, and very important work that you do for me and I'm sure for many, many more people around the world. Please don't ever change! This is a Sony's Spider-Man Universe (which is criticized for not having Spider-Man in it) movie, which wasn't directly connected to the MCU until Eddie Brock appeared in the mid-credits of No Way Home. Now, despite not having Spider-Man in them, I really enjoy both Venom movies and am excited for the final movie coming later this year 🙏

The symbiote knows everything Edfie knows; thats how it can ride a motorbike. Thats how it "talks to him". Also it's part of Eddie biologically.

People who complained that there is no Venom without Spiderman clearly never read the comics since most of the most entertaining stories about Venom have nothing to do with Spiderman.

Woody Harrelson is playing Cletus Cassidy. He's a character that was a serial killer and in the comics, Venom sort of reproduces and creates a new symbiote that bonds with Cassidy and goes by the name Carnage.

"Maximum Carnage" was one of the most brutal Spider-Man story arcs of the '90s. The sequel isn't as good as the comic, but it's still lit.

There's a running joke in the Spider-Man comics because of Venom. At one point Venom has Spider-Man in his grasp and hevsays he's going to enjoy eating Spider-Man's spleen. In another comic later on Spider is told he's going to be killed and eaten alive and Pete says "Fine by me, but you can't have my spleen; that belongs to Venom!". And what makes it funnier is that Venom isnt even IN that comic.

Not that it comes into play in the movies, but in the comics, Knull, creator of the Klyntar(Venom's race), removed their vulnerability to fire and sound. Also, just because it's a fun fact, Marvel and DC do crossover comics sometimes and Venom beat Superman 😅

there's a lot of people who love the Venom movies and those that hate it. personally, i'm part of the former, it's dark but goofy, serious while being fun. sadly the next movie called The Last Dance seems like it'll be the last one.

As a kid i wanted to be like Spiderman, now that i grew up i wanna a symbionte in my body to protect me from diseases, attacks, to give a little company and in exchange i would let it eat the bad guys of my city and country (here in Colombia there are too many bad guys, so there would be a feast every night for it)

Venom is a great character and this was the best incarnation of it in live action. The first iteration with tiger Grace wasn't good. At first in the comics Venom was the black suit Spiderman. It changed him and like he did in the original trilogy with Toby McGuire Spiderman got rid of it with the sound weakness which is how it went to Eddie Brock. That part was true for the story of Venom but this movie shows what Venom was supposed to be like minus the spider symbol on the chest. In later years Venom was re-written as more of an antihero. It also goes with portions of the what the MCU touched on in Thor Love and Thunder with the sword Gore carries as it was created by the same veing that created the symbiotes. Part 2 is the first live action try at showing Carnage who is a villain for Spider-Man and Venom.

Venom is a Sony production. The MCU is owned by Disney, which isn’t Sony. Sony owns Spider-Man’s rights which is why they made this movie. It’s also why madame web was made. It has nothing to do with the MCU.

Don't hate her. Eddie looked into her private company files for the info for his story and got her fired from a career she worked hard for. It was a huge betrayal. I would have left him too.

I hit like before he said it. Bless up, some comic book info and some MCU movie business info - Suffice to say in the comics Venom is mainly a Spider-man villain. But Sony didn't have the rights to Spider-man so this was a standalone when it was made, not connected to Spider-man and separate from the MCU storyline. But later Sony and the MCU ended up collaborating with Venom in a way I'm not gonna spoil.

Basically, spiderman is owned by Sony and since venom is part of spidermans villain antourage, Sony owns venom. Marvel studios made a deal with Sony to have spiderman but Sony still owns venom so venom is in its own universe which is why you're people said to skip it during your mcu journey

Well Venom is kind of just Sony Pictures, and it's Marvel but NOT in the current continuity in the first movie that you just watched. There is some crossover but even Spider-Man was just on its own until the Tom Holland Spiderman deal they had with Marvel.

All you really need to know about Venom you got from Spider Man 3. For all the cringe in that movie, they got the core of the character's origin square-on. This movie pulls Spider Man out of the story and streamlines several decades of character development to bring you to 'modern' Venom by the end. As for it's place in the greater 'Spider-verse,' it's basically a stand-alone until...later events. I've forgotten where you are in the MCU right now. 11:05 - You remember that it's been 6 months since they broke up, right? 26:24 - LOVE the She-Venom cameo. 32:26 - You don't need this explained, you just need to watch the next movie. Wait until after you've seen Far From Home, though. Let me just confirm, though, that for those of us who DID know the character when we saw this in theaters, this moment was EPIC.

Spiderman and his villains movie and video game rights to Sony. Marvel comics and Marvel studios to Disney that became the MCU. With the popularity of Tom Holland's Spiderman. Sony and Disney came to an agreement to let the character appear in the MCU. Then, have MCU plot to bleed into the Sony universe. Universal and Disney have an agreement. Disney can use the Hulk in team up movies but no solo movie.
