@@shygirlshorty2000 good reference. I heard in casual conversation when I was younger because Yiddish was spoken by quite a few relatives including my mother. Mel Brooks used it a few times but always in a comedic fashion. He has a wild back story, his antics fighting in Germany in WW2 are legendary.

Me too. I’ve been waiting for reactors to react to this film. I saw it at age 9 in theaters. Couldn’t understand it but laughed a lot. My mom was shocked with how Raunchy it was, considering it’s PG-13 rating. Lmao

You may know him as Sector 7 and The Phantom but many Big Lebowski fans think of him primarily as "The Jesus" and we also know "No one fucks with The Jesus, man" If you want to see Sir John Turturro at his finest watch a movie about a Mafia war set during prohibition called "Millers Crossing" (The Cohen Brothers finest film) The Phantom won best supporting actor for his portrayal of bookie "Bernie Burnbaum"

"Feigele" is a Yiddish term or slang for a gay person. You are pretty close on the pronunciation. Only other time I've heard it used in a movie is Robin hood men and tights by Mel Brooks when he meets the Merry men

So the scene where he's swimming in the ocean chasing the jet ski was actually Adam Sandler. They had him attached to a wire rig and as he swam it lifted him out of the water. If you look you can see the wake from the boat that was tracking beside them with the camera.

Yeah iirc the original text was something along the lines of *Hates: Queers, Jews, Chinese,* (some other slurs, and) *Puppies* *Loves: Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2, The Patriot, What Women Want* Decades from now there'll be kids who have no idea G0oks Co0ns or J@ps were racial slurs because all mention of them, sympathetic or critical, were stricken from records. It's like the show _Peacemaker_ having a white supremacist villain, but he never actually does or says anything racist on-screen; so someone not knowing the context just sees the old white guy getting insulted and _called_ "racist" by everyone else when all he did was sit in his house and be mildly rude to some police officers. It's like the show's _trying_ to make the racist look reasonable by going out of it's way to avoid the racial crimes he's "totally guilty of . . . off-screen".

I love black coffee, something I got from my years in the Navy. I also learned no matter the name, "Daisy happy sunshine rainbows coffee," if it is black no one can say anything. 😋 But on that note when you have day old cold Navy coffee and have to microwave it because you have been up for 23 hours and need that 1 more hour with no time for a new pot, any other coffee taste good.
