This story is soo good yet so sad. She was living for someone elses will and want. All she had on her mind was what her dad wanted. She waited so long to marry the dude, and he still screw her over. And still ask so much of her when he doesn't he love her. This shows that we women can do so so much. And we need to support each other. But she is still so lonely and still got what She didn't want. Awesome ❤the best story I ever heard about a Vue girl whom is my relative. We need to make a movie or write a story about her. I’m super proud of this awesome Vue girl. I know she tried her best and only want the best for us women but. At her time, no women was ready for her or ready to help her change. I always am proactive in our Hmong women’s right and always wondered if we had a superhero in the past. Now I know, we do have this awesome Vue girl!! I hope her legacy and legend will go on and inspired us Hmong women for generations to come!!

I love and very fortunate to leave this century. Yes, we do have a few very smart warriors like her; but only one or a few is not strong to make it equality. We must know that meka women equal right was acknowledged in mid-1900. Thank grandpa for telling this strong woman story to us. My aunt is also a strong warrior. She is in her 90 and healthy. She once challenged general vang Pao in a Hmong men meeting at a Thai campsite why they order my sister into jail. The next day my sister was out. My aunt has no fear of Hmong men however ranks they are. Nobody knows her but SHE LIVES HER LIFE HER RULES. Any body tries to dumb her down. She corrects them right away. They feel like a fool, calling her crazy. 😂

I think your title for this story is mistitled. This story should have been named after nkauj lig and not her father. This was HER life story.

This story had potential, but it started to get draggy and doesn't add up. Like she stayed single till she was 50. Her man was still waiting for her[weird]. Yet he didn't love her to the fullest, so why stay single for her too. And if she's in her 50 how in the world she was still expecting to give her husband a child? How long were they together till she finally left. How many years she spent after her separation from her husband, like she was still physically capable? It doesn't add up. Moral of the story, She had her own beliefs and stood up for it. I dont blame, all she wanted was equality and people failed her vision.
