That's awesome to hear! I recommend you check out the NRA's training program and their Marksmanship Qualification Program (MQP). I've been wanting to post videos about both. Other groups such as the Gun Owner's of America, FPC, ATA, ASA, etc. are great but do not compare in regards to training and marksmanship.
Just wanted to check to see if you have kept informed on what the NRA has become? I let my membership expire 5 years ago and joined the GOA (Gun Owners of America). Other than top executives being caught using funds provided by members as a personal piggybank and nothing being done about it whatsoever just 3-4 years ago, the NRA isn't what it once was 10 or so years ago. They have become pretty liberal and even support stricter gun laws now... The NRA membership has been losing about a million patrons per year over the last few years as people become more informed about their actions and directions of support. The GOA on the other hand has a 2 word motto, "No Compromise" with issues dealing with gun rights and the Constitution.
