bro, i own a 2002 ap1 and a 1991 na1 and i am really considering buying an eg6 or ek9 simply for the reason that i could swap in all the parts i don't need on the other 2 cars. Just imagine a k20, crv awd swapped eg6 with s2000 wheels, nsx brakes, nsx seats, s2000 abs, s2000 steering wheel, s2000 dash ect.
i have also on my ek NSX calippers. 300x28 rotor from Accord type R ch1 Pads from brembo UK for integra gsr. And its legal registert in Germany. Best stuff, and best looking.
video yourself while your working on the project . such as put the camera on a table angled at you while you work the task and put nice background music on it. im a big fan . :)
I used 4x114 prelude vtec rotors with I believe a 25t caliper bracket for the 11.1 rotor and nsx caliper on my del sol. The only thing that sucks is wheel clearance with these calipers.
Great video! About the greenstuff, I have them installed and they work well until you demand a little, they overheat easy and they don’t stop anything. I use them on the street, in a track I can’t imagine that
I got nsx calipers on my del sol. I used na1 nsx calipers that I rebuild. Than used a 93 prelude vtec rotor since I'm running 4x114, and used a "I think; if I can remember" 95 accord wagon caliper bracket. All plug and play baby. Just need a type r brake master cylinder to make everything super A1.
tsx pads still have slight pad overrun on mini cooper rotors, it isn't as bad as the itr pads, but the overrun was on the inside and outside of the pad, very slight and I think a lot less than the itr pads. I noticed when I went to swap my regular pads for track pads.
My left rear coil over started leaking after one day but otherwise it is a great ride, I run them on my 95 eg with a 2000 si swap I give maxpeeding rods a 6 out of 10 so far
Another bolt on is the s2000 front calipers with acura type s rotor the only thing you have to redrill the rotors or use type r hubs rotors are 11.4 i think dont remember now.
I use the 94-95 legend gs calipers (dual piston) on my eg with mini rotors. And on the rear I have gsr calipers, ep3 caliper brackets with ep3 rotors. Dont forget a 1" master from a 98-01 integra when the time comes
I had issues finding a rear pad when i used the ep3 caliper bracket and a gsr caliper. I was also concerned with pad wear as half the pad was not covered by the caliper. Ended up switching to rsx-s rear calipers, but you have to bleed those upside down
Preferably na1 first gen nsx calipers tho due to the way the pistons are. The 2nd gen have different sized pistons that I hear are not good for eg, or ek chassis
any Acura Integra 94-01 spindles 2008 Mini Cooper non type S 280mm Rotors 4x100 any Honda front brakes and bracket if do itr using 04 TSX brake pad say if you want to do the Mugen gate system all you need is an s2k front caliper with 294mm Mini Cooper rotor
Never heard of that. Pretty cool man. Question though. Wouldnt that cause the water or which ever fluid you prefer to suck back up into the lines? If so i would definitely use brake fluid not water or motor oil.
@@That1E_K1129 Its the same concept as the "ONE MAN BLEEDER KIT". To do it, pump brake atleast 5x, hold down the pedal with some stick or something. Go to the caliper and open the valve, then close it. Repeat again, then leave the valve open. Now you can just keep pumping until the fluid start to look clear(cleaner than before). Search on how to here. Or replace all four bleeder screw with a ONE WAY BLEEDER SCREW.
@@BLAZEPSI ya ive always used the vacuum kit when i bleed by myself. Pretty neat trick man ill have to give it a try sometime. The 20yrs ive been a mechanic ive never seen that before. Nice info thanks for sharing it 👍
