@@_DarkNight_X I’ve grown up in housing commission and spent my youth extremely poor, so did everyone else I knew. I had friends bring handguns to school. I’ve had family members locked up for gang ties and violent behaviour. I spent my childhood running from people in the neighbourhood, getting jumped or my shit stolen. This was all normal. Gangs were normal. Kids going hungry was normal. Open drug markets were normal. Guns were normal, everyone carried knives. If you’re from areas in Australia where this isn’t the norm you probably wouldn’t believe it. Yeah rich people can go through hardship as well but don’t sit here and try to compare the two at all when they’re a world away lad. It’s cringe and ignorant as hell. No one’s claiming to be growing up in an actual war zone but it’s still a hard life. And English, Russians, Italians, Germans, French, Spanish? They’re all white lad. Chinese and Koreans move here willingly to study because they have money, that’s why they’re living in good areas. You’re not seeing Kooris and Islanders in those areas. You know exactly what I’m talking about, stop playing dumb. And he’s talking to a particular person in this track who’s claiming to be from a certain area to be perceived in a certain way when he’s from a private school background in a rich suburb. It’s disrespectful to those who have actually grown up hard when rich kids claim to be street.
