I dun agree. NTUC is a "commercial" company or is this a government enterprise. NTUC has becoming more and more expensive and profit driven than care for the low income groups. Three parties in the tripartite relationship. NTUC is for all legal and practical purposes PAP. Labor unions represent the working class and are more affiliated to the PAP. Business associations represent the capitalists and entrepreneurs. 2 of 3 parties are pro PAP, so what is to gain for businesses in the long run to justify keeping this tripartite relationship? Businesses should start pathing their own way forward and abandoning working with NTUC. Businesses are better negotiating directly with employees. You may even take union busting measures to weaken labor unions' influence.
