Influence went in both directions between Kemet and Kuch. Nubians were indigenous to both Kush and Kemet.

The Nubians that are being spoken of are really the South Sudan Nilotic people. Nubia wasn’t a place in dynastic Egypt before the Romans came, a the Nubian Christian kingdoms started in medieval times just before 600 AD. Ta-seti was the name the ancient Egyptians used in the old kingdom, not Nubia. The term Nubian derived to separate black Africans out of Egypt history to go with the narrative that outside people(Afro Asiatics) created Egypt civilisation & not black Africans. The Cushitic speakers were the first invaders of the first intermediate period which would make it false to say ancient Egypt is of Afro Asiastic origins if they were the cause of the first intermediate period. Egypt is a Nile valley civilisation not a delta civilisation even tho today Its in the North African geographically. The Nile valley is in the south, as well as the culture & the name for the south was NeHeS which Egyptology identified as Nergo. Nergo became equivalent with Nubia.
