I heard this was after nujabes' passing and this was like a homage to him. I donno how true that is, but it's still cool that this DJ was bumping his jams
0:50 It’s like the whole crowd was absolutely in-sync with the music. They all did that little head bop before the transition at the same exact time. Brilliant
It’s the respect that you feel when the whole crowd bobs their heads together that’s how you know everyone is listening, with the crowd so quiet you could hear every sound that the dj has to offer the music!!!
@@SaionjiWorld imagine how legendary a real nujabes concert would’ve been if he was still here, I could only imagine how they really were, if he could make a whole crowd bob their heads imagine what he could’ve achieved if he were still alive to this day long live nujabes 👍🏻☮️🕊
Any DJ that throws on Nujabes Beats is alright with me!!! DJ shota can rock!!!! Salute and much love and respect. Heavenly vibes. Long Live Nujabes and Dilla May they rest in beats. 🙏🏻📻✌️🧘♂️🌳🕊🌍☀️🍵
Nujabes, it's amazing how his music is still around. Not too many people get this treatment, not even big super starts. Sadly we will never experience him again in person, but there's a place that has a little connection with him, and his soul is still going strong there. If you ever go to Tokyo, pay a visit to Usagi in Shibuya, a ramen shop run by Nujabe's little brother. The place plays all the time Nujabes music and special tracks never released to public, has tons of pictures, and serves some amazing and delicious ramen. Also, if you never met Nujabes in person, you can still meet his brother and give him thanks. Be aware, the place is NOT a merchandising shop. They don't advertise Nujabes anywhere nor sell anything. Is just a ramen shop with a deeply connection to Jun Seba. Don't be a typical tourist, be a customer and show respect.
😎 heeeyy thx for the info...he is still one of my favz...gone entirely too soon, but he certainly left an indelible impression on those of us who listened to his music ❤🙏🏽🎶🎧💿
Yeah there arent many nightclubs in japan where you can just chill like this. Not that i found anyway. It was mostly just super dtandard party and edm music.
Luv sic is literally so heartbreaking to listen to, gives me chills every time.. parts 4-6 were put together after the Nujabes died and in their memory, by shing, with unfinished beats from their hard drives…
Thats so cool shing did that, definitely my favorite work from those two is all the love sick songs, such beautiful art, hard to find songs that come close to them
Not just Shing, Uyama Hiroto played a huge part in finishing the Hexalogy as well. It's a beautiful tribute to him using stuff they all worked on together over the years among stuff they found in his collection after he passed. If anybody is only listening to Nujabes you should do yourself a favor and check out his contemporaries like Uyama, Fat Jon, Blazo, etc. because it really does feel like Nujabes lives on in all of their music.
William Adiputra if we really get into it, no, lofi “aesthetics” becoming a thing was due to many different people across genres like punk, grunge, metal, etc. including hip hop, just by the nature of home recordings and cassettes quality being terrible. Dilla was definitely a lo-fi musician tho, but I don’t know if technically Nujabes is. He sampled a lot of old music, but I think his focus was to make jazz sampled hiphop rather than audio qualities. It’s just that today, people just think “looped jazz sample + beat = lofi” Edit: worded sumn weird lol
When I heard he had accident, it was very sudden and so unbelievable. Time passed 10 years more, but his music still part of my life. Whenever I notice that, I got both feel some appreciate to his touchable works and unfortunate because of his early death and unrealized potentials.
Still remember being in the computer lab on campus when I heard the news. Got teary eyed and it honestly felt like how shellshock is portrayed in movies. RIP King Seba
I started listening to his beats prob a bit after watching Samurai Champloo then listening to his beat from a relative, helped me a lot/changed me, forever grateful I came across his music
A total legend who died too soon, I got into his music because of Samurai Champloo, one of the best djs and producers I've heard... I'm actually trying to sample some of his music, I think it would be a good way to honor his legacy.
I had the pleasure of going to the Nujabes Tribute show in Seattle. Shing02 preformed the entire love sic series and I believe most the crowd was in tears by the end. I know i was. REST IN BEATS
@@kek490 about as much practice as learning how to speak takes, but everyone can learn how to speak, given time. Except you can be a good speaker, but a good dj is impossible, as the very nature of what you do is just bootlegging.
Dude~ this hit different🙏😢💓❤🙏 I've listened to him since I was 11 in 2011. I was going through a rough childhood and I really loved listening to music and my therapist gave me a recommendation on some music and nujabes was on there. He became my favorite artist. When I heard he passed not even the year before I cried so hard and I just thought that he gave me hope for the future even tho his passed. I'm 20 right now and still love his music. I even got vinyls of his songs posted up in my room.🙏 I pray for him all the time. 🙏
I love how their all bopping their heads to the rythme And all dressed differently Like they just finished work from all kinds of job Like the music just brought them together Like that episode In samurai champloo when the whole town smoke weed

This...the the energy in this room here...just jamming and bonding with complete strangers and matching each other's energies with some good music...this is the mood I'm always looking for when I go out. Music is so healing!
The man died 3 months after I found out about him. And now I'm forever missing my opportunity to see him play. Maybe in the next life time I'll come back and I can finally watch you play :). Nujabes you made my hellish life come to light. And hours and days of your music until I got out. Thank you
At first the crowd bobs their heads individually, as soon as the bass drops for luvsic, everyone is immediately in sync with eachother. That is the real magic
I know this specific event in Tokyo. Before Rona it was held every month at this hotel venue. Foreigner fans that come to visit should try to time it to attend this, even though it's not that common for Nujabes to be played, but the vibe and hip-hop is amazing
You’re not worthless motherfucker change your name💯 nah but real shit nobody’s worthless even if people have mental illnesses I think we can help everyone one good form of therapy is music another is anime😆watch one piece that’s one of the best feel good anime out there it got me out of some tough times when I was depressed it’s easy just to kick back and vibe to the show especially in the beginning of the show it’s a vibe even though the fights aren’t crazy till wayyy later the early episodes are just a vibe to watch don’t rush through the beginning you’ll appreciate the anime more unless you really feeling that anime binge
@@musi_126 i remember there was a video on youtube with Nujabes performing live i think in korea with his prodigy playing the clarinet. they did luv sic 1-3
@James Alexander lmfao I was gonna reply but looked at your profile picture and cracked tf up. Go head w that shit bruh hahahaha Edit: also learn how to comment pls kinda embarrassing you had to redo your first comment
@@philperson9896 he is saying that in his opinion, instead of listening nujabes with a crowd of people, the best way is to listen to it alone in your house's sofa drinking some alcohol haha
I like how they all seem to understand the swing in the drums, everyone's bobbing on beat even wit the slightly unquantized drums, gotta love the Japan lofi scene tbh
