Using OCIOColorSpace isn't necessary before Write node. You're doing the double work. If you want to see the correct result, just set the Viewer node's view transoform to AgX (sRGB). And when using the Write node simply set it to AgX (sRGB) for the final output or ACEScg if you're planning to keep working in linear workflow down the pipeline. Using OCIOLookTransform is fine if you want to preserve the changes and keep the exact result as in Blender when you rendered your images.
Hi, really thanks for your works ,blender 4.0 is come out with cycle agx view now, I've used ocio file convert the cycle rendered in nuke, it doesn't work, is the ocio file only work at octane render?
Hello! The ACES configuration file can work with the cycles render engine. We need to make some adjustments. I plan to continue recording lessons in the near future and will definitely pay attention to the blender 4 version.
Hello! I will provide you with all the necessary files Color management. ACES, TCAM, AgX - drive.google.com/file/d/18oMoUdQTrMdj-Lru7Bx2gGOXbyl7dG19/view?usp=sharing
I've done all this, but my colors are still way off, too bright and washed out. What am I doing wrong? Is there something special you need to do with the EXR files?
Hello! And do you save the file from the blender correctly? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q-0lQCjmfxc.htmlsi=U88ldfL0nrOZope5 - Agx color management
@@SD-3D Yes, but. I'm using a free edition of Blender Octane and upon exporting the EXR I've discovered that in Blender's Output Properties there's no Octane Output section like in your video, so I'm simply using Blender's Output section. I'm guessing this is the problem after all. Is this a feature only available with paid subscription? Thanks!
@@BrentonWoods774 Hi! Everything is available in the free version. If it doesn't work out for you. Try to do these steps - drive.google.com/file/d/12SKhY_v6zkUQQ_eEh9P3B-3m81wJOaqZ/view?usp=drive_link
