You guys do realize, they had every right to do this. They had permission to delete channels. The moderators, even if on accident. Allowed them to do this. Even though it’s not very nice, the person who changed the permissions screwed the server for a bit. Everything can be replenished and all is not lost. In conclusion, this video is great.
This was a small raid of two singular people. If only two people can cause this damage to a discord server then there has to be something wrong with the permissions, admins, etc. If this was a raid of 300+ people, the story would be way different. Plus, who reads the terms of service?

people are acting like this in thr comments because on Discord do you know how hard it is to create a freaking server for Christ's sake it takes hours and someone comes in and did this and took away all the hard work you did wouldn't you be pissed I know how this feels because one of my servers got raided in the past like this and I had to put in hours of work to recover everything that was lost so yeah people are commenting negatively to this video cuz anyone who uses Discord would know how hard this is to recover from and also creators of this video you do know what you did to went against Discord policy if they see this they will ban you from Discord and not just username ban you IP ban you
Brian Manning listen alright me and my friend co-owned a discord server and it took hours to set everything up and we took a lot of time on it. we did get raided and people we did trust on the server did delete everything and ruin everything. i know what it’s like to half hours worth of hard work deleted trust me. but even when it happened to us I still laughed whilst kind of mad. you have to remember that if you’re really gonna be committed to a discord server you’ve gotta be prepared for raiders, trollers, hackers or straight up back stabbers as there are loads out there and you need to remember people will do things to you just to have a laugh and they’re indeed pricks but if you’re really that committed you’d be able to remake the server and forget about what people did. I made this comment because taking that into account that it takes a lot of time and effort, it’s not that big of a deal and there’s bound to be someone like this person. it isn’t that important and what they did isn’t necessarily life changing. it’s really annoying and can make someone upset but it’s not gonna kill you
There seemed to be quite some people without perms, so they must have been nice on purpose to get them. And that would make this whole thing even worse.
You just shouldn't give perms to anyone you don't know personally otherwise you become susceptible to this kind of stuff. So they basically deserved it for their stupidity. Plus because they are basically strangers to everyone in that discord, not like anyone from that server can knock on their house door and as ''DUDE, What the actual FUCK?!''

Here's a tip for nukers : After you get your first rank on your server, you are allowed to make changes to lower ranks then yours. So, that's what to do, make changes to it, and allow every permission, then, equip it, and, of course , Nuke the server. PS: I don't know if this is a discord glitch or if its ment to be there, but trust me, it actually works. Cheers!
The way he said it gave me the impression that he was specifically referring to the typical interests shared by many vocal lesbians on the internet i.e. Steven Universe, Homestuck, Rick and Morty, BTS, pretty much anything gay, etc. I didn't even think twice about him saying that before you mentioned it because I encounter those people on an everyday basis.
I believe you can watch and enjoy anything that doesnt break legal boundaries. However you absolutley cannot deny that today there are people who are getting younger and younger and they are the same people who havent had time to experiment or experience a serious enough relationship to determine wether or mot theyre a lesbian, my 13 y/o sister is doing the same thing and both my parents and me think its due to how she doesnt enjoy hanging around with boys which is totally normal
Code Breaker Your theory makes sense, but that's a very black-and-white way of looking at self-realization. Going from personal experience, we don't just wake up one day and think, "Damn, I'm gay." When we figure it out, we know that we can't just go around telling people that. Long before you're ready to admit it to yourself, you still have gay thoughts. I'd argue that most young people aren't jumping onto a bandwagon because it's cool, but they're jumping on with the newfound knowledge that it's safe. Of course, I'd still tell 10 year olds to give themselves a few years, but I wouldn't exclude it from the realm of possibility. On top of that, realizing you're gay at age 12-13 absolutely makes sense. If there was ever a time when I saw people who were hyper-aware of their sexuality, it was middle school.

I couldn't run my own discord server in a million years (The closest I've done to doing so is being a mod who's just kinda there and never really does much lol). But if I caught someone doing that I would ban them immediately, it's what ANYONE with more than two functioning brain cells would do.

I know that this video was 2 years ago but I’m seeing some comments mentioning that “nuking” the server was uncalled for. Too be honest this was a good lesson to the kids running the server, yes it was mean spirited by BabyCola, but the kids should’ve known not to entrust people with certain perms. This was a huge lesson for them to know who to trust with “power” and that this stuff will happen if not careful.
