For the money and what you get....The longer pitch faders, the FX mixer section, the larger jog wheels than others in it's class... this is a winner. Very impressive
Just bought this two months ago, worth the wait. Those jogs and the Paddles. Look guys, this is professional. I hate those controllers that look like you're part of NASA control room. Absurd. Been djing 22 years and this Numark is perfect. And the atheistic help a lot to show my profession. Anything less than these specs, then it's a started. And Denon owns this brand. Like Denon of the dual CD pioneers! Which I started from. Records, even today, where too expensive, fk that... CDs do fine.
What bugs me? No one mention in any review the extremely uncomfortable equalizer, small knobs, wierd filter curves, weak plastic effector blades. The jog is big - fact, but ring is made of poor material, which makes it difficult to use. The pitch has a large deadzone close to the center, which is also not beneficial for beatmaching ... after buying it, I returned it up after one day.
I have the Mixtrack pro fx paired with Serato pro. I don't use the Sample performance pad mode; is there a way I can change or midi map it to become slicer instead? Thank you
As a long time Electronic music producer I had my 1st DJ set last week. I have never touched a DJ controller but your video was so good that I came off like a pro! I booked two other gigs this month! Thank you!
Great review very in-depth, I currently own the platinum range with the led wheels which I find useless as I look at the laptop more then down at the mixer I'm for and against this new mixer although it seems to have better features that might work better than the previous version.
When I use the cue points on the unit now it's just turning on and off stems rather than triggering cue points ....any ideas...? It used to work as a cue controller..not sure what I changed
Does the jog wheel allow you to move the track forward to ensure you're starting on the exact time the track/beat starts? Some tracks have a second or so before they start. Thanks!
It looks like a great little controller... the big wheels and the effects paddles seal the deal for me... but the fader cut sounds horrible, unless you can add some flange or reverb I think it just sounds awful. STill a great deck. I am picking one up to pair with the numark display dashboard, i got one for 75$ from the pawn shop
Just one issue with this controller. They could’ve given you two more effects in the effect buttons high pass low pass effects don’t make any sense because it already has filter knob for it.
I have just bought my 1st DJ set up so am entry level big time, i have this mixer so it was great to see it’ll do the job nicely and i haven’t wasted my money. Thanks for the vid 👊🏻
thank you for this great video. I've got this controller since few weeks but this video is the one I've been looking for. I've got better introduction with this 20 minutes video than reading the user guide.👍
You sold it to me im not good at djing but i love music always play tunes from my phone on tiktok live and always see peeps in lives with these numark controlls and the sounds effects and that they use are good so im about to order this tomorrow can i use my phone as dont have a laptop and i obviously have to buy speakers ye?
Watch this video about how to use your phone with the controller. The controller is different, but it works the same way with the Numark! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jt9FgL9ODbQ.html
Can someone tell me how to show a countdown of the time remaining for a track in the jogwheel? Right now it just shows time elapsed, and the manual doesn't show how. Thank you!
I need help I just plugged my controller but I can get it to play I mean the lights are on and traveling from one to another but it seems like is an a demo mode so I don't what to do to make it work please help
Does this work with djay app on iPad? It isn’t officially supported yet as it’s not out, just wondered if it would work before they add support. 👍🏻 Great video.
