You will be required to pass a written test as part of getting your Nunavut class 7 learner’s licence, which is based on information from the Nunavut Driver’s Manual. You will need to be a minimum of 15 years old to apply for your class 7 licence. The written test focuses on two things: traffic signs and rules of the road. The tests require an 80% passing ratio, by answering at least 16 of 20 questions correctly. If you fail one part of the test, either the part devoted to traffic signs or the part devoted to rules of the road, you will only have to retake that part. In addition to passing the written test, you also need to pass a vision test. Once you are 16, you can attempt the road test. This Nunavut practice test will help ensure that you are more likely to pass your written test on the first try, as the practice test features questions based on the same information as the real test.
