No kidding, I could see the Metru-Nui setting easily lending itself to an Assassins Creed type urban-open world stealth-lite adventure game thing. Vahki as the faceless cops to chase down your character (a rogue Toa, a criminal Matoran or a sneaky Dark Hunter maybe?) as they wreck a trail of chaos across the City of Legends. LEGO is one of the few companies in the world that is sitting on such an obvious IP goldmine like Bionicle and doing absolutely nothing with it. I don't know if I love them for not being so quick to sell out, or if I am bashing my head against the wall because its clear Bionicle has so much potential still just sitting on the shelf left unexplored.

@@jacoblyman9441 Bionicle would have so benefitted from modern media. THey seriously need to bring it back, I'm certain with modern tech they could probably remake molds for old parts, but make them so that ones with flaws won't break this time. Sell the sets and parts individually online, especially since Bionicle G1 parts are great for MOCing aside from their age. Sad thing is that everytime someone uses a Bionicle set for MOCing either they risk breaking those parts or the set hardly gets put back together, which means year by year less and less complete sets available for people who want them for the set it's self, and prices for certain sets can go up. Though I think it would be cool if Lego ever did this rerelease thing if they included in the sets alternate pieces. They can look to cutom molds on Shapeways for new pieces, such as givign the Toa Mata/Nuva elbow and knee articulation. Or include posable hands in every set, use the hand pieces for if you want them to hold a weapon, or articulated hands if you want to put them in cool poses. Even let us be able to order custom masks online.

@@aster6000 niiiice i've been trying to use cycles more but it's either waiting hours for the staggering 500 samples per frame or using denoising which makes everything look kinda weird? so i mostly just stick to eevee haha

​@@jojogapeIf you have an external graphics card, check if you're on GPU compute and in the preference under system that your graphic card is also checked, maybe use Cuda. Try using only 300 samples, a noise threshold of maybe 0.1, reduce the max bounces of your light paths to six and below, in clamping indirect light to 8 and if you want even deactivate the caustics. That should do the trick.

@@aster6000 yes, there's a playlist called "the bonkle experience" that's been continuously updated with possibly the best bionicle content out there (both official and fanmade) so im pretty sure that this video is going to be there because is top tier

ohh i didn't see that, could've saved me some time! Well the whole vahki situation is a bit odd cause we see Rorzakh and Zadakh but they hold Vorzakh's weapons. I wanted to make them canon compliant so i chose the ones that are still open for interpretation. Nuurakh also fits this description, perhaps i'll do that one day.

not sure yet what i'll do, i have some more plans for these at the moment but i'm considering it later down the line 🤔

Oh, the spider army was already a thing. It just didn't move in to Metru Nui until after Teridax was trapped. Also, most of the Vahki "died" when their hives got turbocharged by Makuta in the Great Cataclysm. That came up in one of the books because apparently a few models survived that could talk and were using lethal force, which made them a nuisance to the Toa _and_ the Visorak.

nope, i was going with the animator's principle of not doing any more work than necessary, so that's all i've made unfortunately. Perhaps if demand's high i can see myself making a little extended cut or something?
