I've never understood backlit keyboards without shine-through keycaps. Good that there's an option for both with this keyboard.

Same. I got the shine through keycaps with the Air75v2, but the regular ones fell better. If you don't work in a dark environment, the regular keycaps are better. That being said, the illumination on this keyboard stinks. Not nearly bright enough to see the keys.

hold the Fn key and press the down curser. it will lower the brightness until completely off :)

@@MashITTech I am intrigued by the m16 r2 though! A review on that would be great as well. Still wanting to wait for a better screen. I've almost considered getting a strix oled instead but some of the things about the alienware really make me want to stick it out. Such as the amazing mechanical keyboard.

Sir i need a help suggestion I have legion slim 7i 2022 model and my ldisplay lid doesn't close propelry anf left side stays elevated and doesn't close propery Does repairing it needs to take out all the heatsinks tjermalpasete and fan? or can be done without removingthis all? plz i nees help

sorry for the delay! Bad news I am afraid. In order to get to thehinges you need to remove the entire heatsink and motherboard assembly :(

@@MashITTechi did try to check but they say legion slim 7i has very different hinges and it cannot be repaired in My countryNepal other laptop hinges can be tighten and loosne by screw but legion slim 7 has diferent tyoe of hinges like soldered or weilded si need tk buy a whole set which isn't available here in Nepal. Its a bit loosened i don't know how they did but its loosne a bit ( better than stiff tight - so that screen can be prevented frim brreaking down from bottom) at least and also they chnaged the thermal paste. So its not the original paste now Should i repaste and clean the laptop again in 1 year? later? with a good paste?

Aloe switches seem like a great option for these low-profile keyboards. From what I read Aloe is the loudest option besides your cherry blues, but the Aloes are very light which would be great for Gaming. I think I would like Moss as well. My Air 75 V2 has Wisteria switches. They are nice but not as loud as I expected or similar to the other full sized keyboards' I have with Wisteria Switches. I guess its silly to expect a low profile keyboard to have the same results as a full size keyboard. Mash you should check out the LoFree keyboards they are also low profile and offer great typing experiences. It's nice to see more manufacturers getting int the low profile space. Nuphy is great but I don't consider Keychron an alternative option. I have a few keychrons that have been nothing but trouble even with modifications.
