"We took two awful lists." Tbh those are the best battle reports when nothing is serious. I once played a game with a guy and I had a cocked die, the guy measured it and sait it was less then halfway cocked therefore it was a failed wound
You really should do a cursed game where the opponent picks 3 units for you with one third of your army cost max and you have to build around that. Only allowed to pick one of each unit type. Or something similar like that to force playing with less popular units. I'd think it would be funny.
Just the other day I was flicking through my 2nd ed. rulebooks, thinking how a BatRep would be interesting with all the janky ol' ways of doing things (2d6 terminator saves, Thudd gun templates, cards for some things but not others, needing 4 types of die for 1 armour penetration roll etc) and lo the universe delivers 😅
Very common rule error I see is when 2 objective secured units are within range of an objective. If both players have at least 1 unit within range of the objective then you count all models within range to determine who controls it, not just OBSEC ones. I see this with alot of batreps and sometimes it could change the VP scoring.
Hey luca just to let you know you can't pick the same exalted ability on different greater daemon, you can only pick it once. However you can have the same ability if they rolled and got the same result or you pick on and the other by the roll got the same result
My favorite game to watch so far, it actually feels like a war opposed to less models, and when I heard If your enjoying this game you are a masochist I was like oooh haha this game was great. I’m fairly new to the channel, but this is what the game should be like. Keep it up I enjoy it. I’ll probably join the vault soon too
Noticed a lot of forgetting to re-roll wounds on the Nurgle side. All Great Unclean One weapons are Plague keyword weapons. Coulda killed a lot more Boyz early on.

Ran a list for a while that had 90 Tzaangors, 30 Pink Horrors, 30 Blue Horrors and 30 Brimstones... Plus some other peeps. XD Like a pal put it: "Why don't you want any friends?" XDXD
Like others have said, you cannot pick the same exalted rewards for your greater deamons, pg 76 of engine war, bottom right. Hope that helps in the future boyos.
Cant wait for daemons to get a new book... it's painfully limited right now and the stratagems... lawd don't even get me started on that arid wasteland of choice. The beast of Nurgle is point for point the most cost efficient unit in the game the though. Taken with a bell weilding great unclean one and having slimux as another HQ , as units of 5 they are insane.
I'd love to see an Aliens Vs Predator 40k Bat rep keeping with the spooky theme. Nids vs Chaos Spaces Marines, or Daemons. Or maybe Alien Vs Alien, Nids vs Tau. Or have a Xenos week during October where the Monday 40k Bat rep and the Incursion Bat Rep are Xenos armies only.

Fun fact all tzeentch demons have a +4 invuln save and the the only unit I’m not a fan of are the horrors also I love the flames but Take my statement with a grain of salt because I haven’t made a only tzeentch army.
Why is it a chore. Without blast templates you can magnetise everyone and give them a big base. I used to have 300+ skaven magnetised. it was 5 moves to get them on the table. Now with my 40k orks its a like 3..
I wish you guys would do a league format. Playing your best armies to the best of your abilities. Kinda like ss82 except with more than 2 people participating in the whole thing
