On eBay they have breastfeeding scarves that look really cute they're like the circle type scarves that are joined together but they come down are very loose for breastfeeding but give you proper cover and when it's cold you would normally wear a scarf so it's easy to use and have
I love ur message! It's hard when people give u dirty looks or say something rude while breast feeding ur baby. I actually lost my milk supply because I was worried about what people thought and rude comments. But I'm 28 weeks and this time I need to be confident and strong. It's about my baby not people who don't get it. Thank u for ur words of encouragement. They mean a lot!
If anyone says something to you just tell them that "You have to feed your baby or would they prefer you to starve your baby so they don't feel awkward because breastfeeding is completely natural woman have been doing it forever guaranteed chances are their mother breastfeed them so why shouldn't you breastfeed your baby and if they have a problem they can walk away but you're gonna feed your baby and they can shove a dildo up their arse as making sure your baby is feed, happy and healthy is more important then anyone else weather you decide you to breastfeed or bottle feed it's your decision and not theirs and if it bothers them that's their problem not yours but if they don't mind you need to finish feeding your baby" that's what I'm planning on saying I'm due on the 22nd like I am abit worried about breastfeeding in public but sometimes for me anyway having something to say back will make me feel more confident when it's in the back of my mind incase someone says something plus if it's a man well boy talk about his mum breastfeeding him (she might of not) but should make him uncomfortable 😜 cause if they feel awkward seeing a stranger breastfeeding then bringing up their mother breastfeeding them outta make them walk away 😛
Exactlyyyy the baby is priority not the other people even if is family or closer ones(should be more empath!)and also dirty looks are pervert even from old woman who only think the dirty in the world and reproducing the punnishment to moms instead to the dirty porn based society. Im so tired to see how babies pays the consecuences of moms focused at the marketing;at others looks;fashion and style instead of psicoemotional neurocognitive consecuences in adulthood to their own baby(and its a problem for the future of all!!). Stay strong moms of the world and do it for your baby and for all of human kin🌏🤰🥺💗
Breastfeeding really needs some boost in the US, I'm from Spain and it is the most natural thing in the world for us: no bad looks or shame on the mother, on the contrary. For me it is extreme cultural shock that people frown upon a mother nursing a baby, it's kind of mean, obnoxious and a total lack of empathy. Wtf is wrong with the US???
Extra tip: if you want to cover your belly, you can wear a nursing tank top under any shirt instead of a bra, and just lift your shirt and unsnap/pull down the side you’re nursing on. I’m a t-shirt and leggings kind of girl, so this really helped me feel better (or wearing over the belly maternity leggings).
Olivia you are putting out QUALITY content right now!! Thank you so much! These tips were soooo helpful! Currently 2 weeks postpartum trying to figure all this out
This video is so useful!!! My baby is one year old and I'm still BF. Nowadays I know how to dress, but I remember at the beginning it was a lot trial and error. It would be great another one for colder weather.
Thanks for being real n not a frump! Good tips! I hate button downs n ppl telling me i will need to be practical but i’m a crop top gal so I am planning on winging it n keeping my tees! Just because we’re mamas doesn’t mean we have to give up our style x
I absolutely love all your videos. Me and my husband will be trying to get pregnant starting this month and your videos have made me very excited and are very helpful! You are a joy to watch. 💕
I just want to say thank you!!!! Your recent content is amazing! I’ve been subscribed for a few years now but I feel like these new videos, your personality just shines through!
This couldn't have come at a better time! I will be seeing my husband's family for the first time since giving birth in May. I want to look cute but avoid over-exposing when I'm feeding little man. Thanks again for the super relevant content!
Thank you so much Mama. You saved my life (figuratively 😆). Im a first time mom & due anytime now. And thinking of nursing dresses/style! Btw girl, you a Triple D ?? I couldn’t tell !!
Great tips!! I was literally going through my closet this week looking for outfits to BF as I'm starting to venture out of my quarantine bubble 😅 My baby was born 4/4 and I definitely feel a camaraderie watching your videos ❤️
Thank you for the tips. Going to be visiting the in laws when baby arrives this summer and need summer styles that give me easy access without having to compromise my style
Thank you so much Olivia! First time mom 4 months into our journey. Nursing tops are SO expensive I love how you are showing us how to buy items we can use after nursing too. Can you PLEASE do a fall/winter video too??
Thank you this is so helpful!! I’ve been breastfeeding two months now and realizing I reallllly need to buy some things that are more bf friendly instead of just taking my entire shirt off every time😂
Where is that classic button down shirt from? That's a staple piece I'd love to have! Love this video Olivia! Thanks so all the effort that goes into these:):):)
Great video. I wish I had this information 6 years ago, lol. Sometimes I dreaded going to church or any function because a lot of my clothes weren’t nursing friendly.I made it work some how lol. Many times I would find a small corner wherever I was made it my nursing station when I didn’t have a nursing friendly outfit on😂. By the way you look great.
I can’t wait to use these tips when my little one comes along! 💛 Could you make a Gorjana collection video sometime? I’m really interested in the brand and I love all your pieces! Thanks!
Thank you for this video! I'm breastfeeding my little boy and I've really struggled to find feeding friendly clothes that are also affordable and pretty to wear 🤗 These are great 😁
I just started thinking about dressing for post baby. Due in May and I just realized that I won’t be wanting to wear the winter clothes that I have anymore after baby comes but I also won’t fit my regular clothes. I’m a big tshirt girl and I feel like they aren’t as practical for breastfeeding so I love this video for other things to lookout for
Thank you so much for doing this, there are no videos for feeding mommy out here. I’m due in 4 weeks with my 3rd and literally want to look good while breastfeeding. Specially when out in the mall or getting lunch.
I’m due on October in the north east and would love to see a styling video for warm and cozy layers to nurse in. It’s difficult to trust the quality of specific items online - so while I can apply your tips to any Henley or button up top from online retailers i keep finding I’m wasting money and time with returns finding staple pieces
@@oliviazapo thanks so much for your reply! And the crop tops you pull up too then? Won't that leave your belly exposed too much in public or is there a specific way to do it? Sorry, first time mom here and really struggling with dressing myself and nursing in public 🙉
Hey there, just an FYI that I enjoyed the video but almost none of the links work anymore for those clothes. You may want to consider finding similar items to link so that anyone watching it currently has options to look at! Just a thought!
Hi Olivia... could I ask what size you got got in your kindred bravely sublime nursing tank. You did a video on it last year but, wasn’t sure if you mentioned it. Small or medium?? Thanks girlie. Mommy content is always on point! 👌
Olivia Zapo amazing! Thanks so much for the response! You’re videos have been helping me so much! Expecting my second this September. 2 under 2 as well. Wish me luck 🤞
Thank you so much!! This video is so helpful and beautiful. Wonderful overview. And re-reminded me how beautiful breast feeding actually is after a long long night.
I'm in my 60's and I have a great pair of overalls. I don't know if they would be nursing friendly, though, and will not be finding out. I love them anyway.
I was in the best shape of my life up until I got pregnant, then I had to stop heavy lifting and eventually stop working out due to sickness, tiredness and puffing up like a blowfish. Now I'm 8 months post partum and still 12 lbs away from pre baby weight due to lack of dedication since becoming a mom, so I don't feel comfy in a form-fitting tank or anything that doesn't have extra material to somewhat hide what remains of my pooch. Being lean and sculpted right up until pregnancy I think was a disservice in that it's given me a real complex about how I allow myself to dress now... I don't wanna flaunt anything until it's ALL good, which isn't the healthiest mindset to have. But you look like you bounced back really fast with hardly any tummy fluff left over, so the "faux" bodysuit look works for you!
That's the only one I could find (sorry! I didn't realize it didn't work!) I linked another one of the same style where you can sign up for the restock alert - or this one shown is called the "Kissed by the Sun High Low Pocketed Maxi Dress" if you want to check Poshmark!
How do you go to bathroom with a romper like that? You have to take it all off? 🙈 When I am breast feeding, I also drink a lot and pee a lot. 😅 I don't only need nursing clothes but also something to hide my tummy.
I just wore dresses and shirts with enough stretch that I could pull my boob out through the neck opening and I'd wear a nursing cover for my own comfort. I didn't like covering my baby with the cover, just myself. If it was a lower cut neckline is wear a stretchy cami underneath.
None of these combinations will work for me. I give birth in October and live in Canada with really cold winters. I'll be wearing long sleeve tops and sweaters.. not dresses
Not sure how this got recommended, but since I'm here, I just want to say that you are an absolute honey and it would be an honor to watch you in action. Makes me think of the breast feeding scene in Me Myself and Irene. I'm a staunch supporter of braless overalls . Steve
