I’m so glad you’ve made a video on this. My mentor is nasty, she made me write/make up her feedback, wouldn’t give me a ward tour so I know where things are (like resus trolley), refused to sign my epad off and is ignoring staff emails from the uni. All the staff and patients were lovely. Can’t believe people are like this😪 So toxic, Karma will be her friend
awesome video. I’ve encountered these kinds of toxic mentors. In my previous placement, they withheld any constructive feedback. Then 1 week before deadline for the final sign off, they said I would fail since I didn't meet the standards. This even perplexed the university, the uni told them that if I fail, its not my fault because my placement hadn't followed the proper protocol and didn’t support me. It was awful.
