Both review of systems (ROS) and head to toe assessment are done in a methodical head to toe fashion. But the ROS is a collection of SUBJECTIVE data (all coming from the patient) while the head to toe assessment focuses on your skills to OBJECTIVELY evaluate and assess the patient. Hope this helps!
