@@moij5962 while the state has a responsibility. They go hand in hand. People are to desperate to be nurses. Unfortunately the nursing profession is plagued by people who are lacking in character, morale and ethics. This this what happens. That school was on probation for a while. In addition to that if anyone called the state of Florida they would have known. However paying thousands of dollars for becoming a nurse without attending classes was more important. Being unlawful and unethical was more important. Jeopardizing peoples lives was more important. Most of these persons don’t do the state board in Florida. They went out to Nevada. Now the state board of nursing in Nevada needs to tight requirements for lincensure. It’s more than pay money and not attending classes to be a nurse. It takes good judgement, character and hard work. At a time when the profession is faced with overwhelming low staff ratio and other factors. The least that needed are persons who are no committed to accountability.

99.9% of what you learn for nursing is learned when you get your job. You learn some in school but you barely learn the basics. What you need to look at is the Educational program. Please, there is no excuse that could justify obtaining a nursing license without attending class and the clinical rotations. Patient safety is at risk. Every nurse that paid for their schooling without attending class should have there license revoked. The nurses must prove that they submitted their assignments, provide documented correspondence from their professors every semester and provide proof of the documented clinical rotations that coincides with the school's curriculum. Without the appropriate documentation, all licenses should be revoked.

@pinkleather6725
@pinkleather6725 Год назад
@jewels24k does not matter when they started the illegal activites. It was the board of nursing of fl responsibility to keep up with regulations, since those schools are not accredited by any other agencies. i find that hard to believe that they needed the fbi to tell them that these transcripts we're fake . They knew... they we're negligent and didn't care as they needed those nurse's by any means necessary, to slave in their shitty ass healthcare system . Especially down there in FL . the board was the same one who placed multiple of those same schools on probation , for low passing rates.It's bs the board of nursing of fl need to be Investigated as thoroughly as those schools we're. alot of those people we're immigrants. Hispanics Haitians and africans . Trust and believe they had help on the inside. one thing about immigrants they are afraid of law inforcement , if they knew they would be caught so easily, they wouldn't have gone this far so someone had them convinced that this would be legit
@jewels24k
@jewels24k Год назад
@pinkleather6725 It does matter when the illegal activities were committed. They can only take action after the crime is committed. The transcripts were attained illegally through legally approved schools, whether they were accredited or not. There is a difference between approval and accreditation. A school can have a provisional accreditation until their passing rates/time periods are met. However, the bigger picture here, which is what I don't think you realize, is that the schools were actually legit schools. That wasn't the problem. The problem was they were selling the degrees/diplomas/certifications without many of (but not all of) the students actually doing the work and passing didactic and clinical competenies. So again, yes, it does matter when the crime happens. The crime was not done before approval. Had it been, then of course, the schools would never have been approved. Once the crimes were discovered, they were all shut down.

Were these schools acredited? If they were who gave them that distinction? Not only that, where were the clinical hours done? It's not just attending class. You need clinical hours to sit for the NCLEX and minimum standards to be granted an associates degree. If those standards were not met, whether you sat in class or the school was accredited, etc. that degree was not earned. As a consumer of higher education, they should have done their homework, compared curricula to other schools offering the same degree, and research graduate rates as well as NCLEX passing rates.

The NCLEX isn't easy. I'm not sure where you got that from. I knew students who took it a few times. It's not just multiple choice, and it's timed. It has selected all the apply, pictures, and listening to different parts of the lungs and heart sounds...etc. I completed my LPN to RN in one year.

That time u are spending hiring a lawyer, you shld think twice and have a plan B in place. I would enroll in a university and get my 4 yr degree while i wait on the judgment. Most universities do 3 yrs for BSN, as long as you have your pre-reqs
