@@mayurdholi946I had it done at CHKD about 13 years ago. Was in the hospital for about a week and was pretty limited for 3-6 months. High impact activities were pretty out of the question while the bars were still in. Stuff like football more than anything else, don’t know about boxing. The removal of the bars was an outpatient surgery. Depending on the severity of the condition you can experience some pretty noticeable differences. Definitely had what seemed like increased lung capacity and just overall felt like I wasn’t struggling as much physically as before
