Very useful for tanders like me. Can you also make something more for diabetic + hypertensive meals? I have my nutritionist too but they give the portions not recipes. Thankee ❤
@@featrmedia oh wow! That would be a big help. Running out of ideas. Not too many specific recipes in the internet dedicated for special "tanderific" cases 😂. So hard to stick to a diet when there is limited protein. This will really be a big help for many of us 🍓🍓
Hello Mamita! I have resolved Diabetes, hypertension and obesity eating the carnivore diet. I lost 70 lbs sitting on my but watching you tube eating beef butter bacon eggs chicken livers etc. Check out the carnivore doctors on youtube.
Watching this to help out my hypertensive and pre diabetic mom. My dad also was diagnosed with high cholesterol and maybe pre-diabetes and I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and high cholesterol months ago before I started eating healthier and got a bit more physical exercise
I would love to see a video that are more safe for gout! I know a lot of other families with a history of it and I've been trying to be safer about it myself!
Since my son was diagnosed with FH I’ve been googling, searching for any helpful info that I could get and trying to find what kind or type of meals I should cook for him but this video is the most helpful. Thank you for all the detailed info you’ve given on this video.
I like this series. I hope that you can produce more of this. As someone said, nutritionists tend to inform us that we can eat like 1 "thumb" of meat, 1 tsp of salt, etc. So there are a lot of diets out there - Keto, Pescatarian, Vegetarian, etc. I do hope that you can create episodes where these are highlighted and explain to us why a certain diet is good for somebody with certain diseases. In your episode - DASH and Hypertension. More power!
It’s about time! Can you write a book or recommend one on modified Filipino food? Are you licensed to work in the US? I need someone like you! I live in the US East Coast w/ hypertension and diabetes. It’s been a challenge finding nutrition counseling on Filipino food. I could never follow a western diet long enough for it to be effective because my taste buds long for the food of our culture.
Thanks. Def one of the better videos I’ve seen when starting out. Just been diagnosed with pre-hypertension at 53. Don’t think I’ve ever tried Philipines food though 😁
Thank you very much for telling and teaching me how to eat for my hypertension I have been eating boiled fishes for about 3 months Now I can take other various food
Glad to find this! Just watched a very depressing video before this of a dietitian’s “day of eating on the DASH diet,” and it looked so bland, unsatisfying, and not enough calories
Thank you Jo! I appreciate this and it's so apt since I am borderline...fine hahaha..... I am hypertensive. It's great that we can still enjoy food, enjoy eating period without having so much restrictions. Thank you! Looking forward to more of the same.
Very informative and entertaining as I'm trying to eat healthier while trying to modify a few dishes and meals. A modified hypertense friendly Kare Kare dish would be awesome..SALAMAT!!!

I’ve been low sodium for about 9 months now, and I am sorry to report if you are one that believes salt makes food taste good, I don’t think there is any substitute. I’ve tried using all kinds of seasoning combinations and not one has been a winner.
