Thank you Jo 😍 this helps a lot 😍 my partner has Barrets and I have GERD and we are the "pasaway" duo hence the weight gain. This year we are going to try to be healthier.
May I add to have LOW fat and low protein because the goal is you want the stomach to empty faster because if there's no stuff in the stomach it won't cause REFLUX. I hope this helps. Also, as Ms. Jo mentioned that it depends on what triggers your reflux. 😊
AS SOMEONE WHO HAS ACIDIC, THIS IS SO HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE! I LOVE IT!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS! THANK YOU SO MUCH FEATR! MORE POWER TO THE TEAM! TAKE CARE AND GOD BLES YOU ALL!!! 🤗👏👏🙌🙌🎉🎉😊😊👌👌✨️✨️❤️🔥❤️🔥
This video was so helpful! I suffer from acid reflux. Going to apply what I learned here in my life. 🙏🏼 love love the variety of videos on this channel!!! ♥️♥️♥️
thank you so much for these videos, they are very helpful. i look forward to them every time! hope you can have suggestions for those with kidney problems too - great food without too much salt content 😊
Im a coffee lover and also got diagnosed with hiatal hernia which acid reflux is one of the major symptoms, but i tend to manage my intake of coffee. I eat first that make me full and then drink coffee. Drinking coffee alone will kill me 🤣. Also it is a cold brew coffee because study shows that it will lessen the acidity of the coffee.
luke warm or room temp water before eating anything and i also like to dilute things with water as well. sadly i'm on my esomeprazole fix again thanks to taking meds when i got the flu before the new year
The tips are great! However many of the ingredients in the sample recipes aren't accessible/affordable. My dad suffers from acid reflux kasi. I used to also give suggestions but he would always lament how nutrition advice is always expensive and "hindi makikita sa palengke".
Pls suggest also reipes for people with hyperthyroidism that is why "namamayat" while need to gain some weight but cant add calories because of pre-diabetic.
for me, fatty protein foods, foods rich with fiber, foods low on sugar, and fermented foods: are the foods that keep my acid reflux away. why this is is that gut bacteria is what produces hcl in the stomach, and caring for the helpful ones do alot. bad gut bacteria love sugar, either from fruits, junk foods or simple sugars. those tiny microorganisms multiply fast without the good bacteria to deter them. good bacteria on the other hand, love fatty acids, fibers and protein. it's their food. while fermented foods are what introduces good bacteria to the stomach. this is also the same reason why antibiotics are prescribed for people with ulcers. and mouth health. the people you smooch are also driving factors for bad gut health. they transfer their saliva to you during the act, so if they have ulcer, chance is that you'll also get it
