NUX Cerberus Works Great with a Piezo Pickup

Depending on your needs, if you already have a Nu-X Cerberus then you may already have the perfect acoustic guitar rig too. Well as long as you keep things simple and have a basic piezo, under-saddle pickup.

I updated my presets to make it easier. Now I have 1A - dry acoustic (Hummingbird), 1B - with reverb, 1C - with reverb & chorus, 1D - alt. dry acoustic (D28). I can still use the preset switch to activate a boost, but don't need to tap dance to get to the reverb switch!

Hi Rob, great video!!!! What piezo do you use and where exactly is it placed? Where did you get the IRs from? You taught me something today about the possibilities of modifications. I built my own partscaster tele and I recently bought the Cerberus so just getting my head around the routing and presets. Thanks and keep strumming🎸🎸🎸

The piezo pickup is made by Brenner. I made a video with all the details: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZBpaWM5F0FQ.html It replaces the bridge saddles of a Tele bridge. It's a well-made unit. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hey there. Does this thing allow eg the use of two banks with their own stomp settings? I would like to use a bank for acoustic guitar (without cab sim) and one for e guitar with cab sim to use into my acus one 5 amp. I also like to use a looper to combine both e and a guitar. Does this device support that? Thanks in advance.

Loved this video. How do you set the boost after being on that program? I see that you "doulble hit" that very same switch And: how do you get that 12 string sound??? Just bought. I thought that nothing could substitute Helix, but...

You program the unit using the app on PC or Mac. But the way to use it is demonstrated in the video. It's called Edit Mode. The "12-string" sound is the chorus.

@@RobCmusic so, to resume: you have 4 presets. You are on switch A. You switch that again and it enters Edit mode. Edit mode has a boost engaged, right? And how do i set it to automatically engage the boost when entered the edit mode?
