NUX MG 30 vs MG 300 - What´s the deal? (Most honest&unbiased - no talking - sound comparison)

Hi Helmut , thnx for this honest review. To my opinion the MG30 needs some factory updating. to my ears it sounded awful. Thumps up for the 300 ( and your playing of course )

I'll keep my mg 300. My plan was to sell my spark 40 and get a mg 30. . thx for the comparison. Nice job , playing.

With all the love that's displayed for the MG-30 (including demo comparisons against other pedals) I have to say there must be some issue with this demo. Many reviews call the MG-30 gig ready but nobody makes that claim about the MG-300.

To my ears, the MG-300 sounds fuller, punchier than the MG-30.

your comment - MG-30 sounds better than MG-300 but needs more tweaking. I dont know. My 2 cent - in this vid sound MG300 better in every sound , more or less..What should be best for comparison? Please tweak some sound , for example plexi , max quality for both units. It shoud be able to show max. usable quality of both units.

In a nutshell...end of the comparison is...NUX expect you to get both units, perhaos they should have offer both as a bundle special price.

Not Surprised as no two modelers sound same -even from same company - but Why not change the MG-30 CAB SIM on each patch to provide a better match to MG-300 ?

What output mode of mg30. Same to mg300?? I think sound is too different.

The MG 30 sounds terrible in most of the examples compared the MG300. For a 32bit 48k interface, wouldn't it sound better than the another conversion stage in the focusright?

Sounds like the mids have to to be backed off more on the mg 30 than with the mg300

most of these sound like you're distorting the input of your audio interface.

Whoa, don't like the sound of MG30 in the slightest. Yes, it sounds "livelier" (as in a better ambient sound/feel) and brighter and I thought (from the demos, didn't have a chance to test it myself) the MG300 was always a bit dark, but at the same time, it sounds really bad to my ears, very "fizzy". Thank you for the comparison!

Weird - the 300 sounded way way better. Something must be wrong??

Wow, saved me some cash, these sound awful. My first step is always to first get the best possible clean sound. if it can't produce that, then all the rest of the bells and whistles are only muddying up a bad foundation. Edit: gave you a thumbs-up anyway because it was a useful video.
