i think you forgot that "tessa" said that Cyn sent the drons out to the planets and Humanity didn't know why, So we knew humanity didn't send out the drone for a while now. about your coment about Robot genes a QnA with Liam does bring up robot repruduction and explains why Nori and Uzi act so similar and also have the AS, same with Yeva and Doll. " If you’re human, obvs if some of your drones break down or get crushed by your other heavy machinery, you’ll need to build more to keep up your epic 10/10 mining operation. We see in the intro there’s a lil conveyor belt/assembly line thingy for assembling new drones on Copper 9 (the name of the exoplanet they’re on - super difficult to see that detail in the pilot though, lol). Once the “Great Yeetening” occurred killing all the humans, the WDs messed with the machine to construct not fully formed WDs ready to lift pickaxes and smile at camera, but instead just little glorified balls of their base neural network - untrained idiots just like human children. If you’re a drone parent ready for a crappy little toaster of your own, you probably copy some of your code onto like . . . a heccin USB and plug some of that ish into the machine as a base network, but otherwise it’s all nurture and learning from there. This is mostly what caused the WDs to branch out in personality types once the humans on Copper 9 decided to take a forever nap, why they have to go to heccin robo-school to re-learn basic stuff, and why you get development “phases” like, for example, learning enough about the world to finally question it and becoming and edgelord teen, lol, but not quite old enough to know how to carry yourself or take things in stride XD In terms of actual models, there are only two: the little baby pills (you wouldn't want a literal mental toddler in charge of a body with limbs and full agency that counts as heavy machinery, lol), then you'd transfer that AI to the full WD body whenever you've grown to be less of an idiot! Tl:dr: if you’ve ever watched “Robots” (2005) . . . ya know . . . that XD" QnA from ep1(takes place in comment section): www.reddit.com/r/GlitchProductions/comments/qnlqib/murder_drones_ama/
The fact that N "killed" "Tessa", the person who saved him from the junkyard, with zero hesitation, because she was threatening Uzi. If that ain't true love, I don't know what is!
@@themakebelieverproductions6342 I don't think so. Tessa/cyn this episode destroyed all other robots who were infected by it. so I think that the absolute solver Mabey took over cyn and made her part of it but cyn is still there in some form, even if cum Think and wants what the solver wants. Why else blow up a bunch of extra bodies if it truly Only was the solver. And if it's just the solver then why blow them up at all if she is gone eat the planet or something in a few minutes from now then why not eat them too. Seems like someone wants to make sure she is the only one infected by the solver and that is cyn.
Can we talk about how sad Tessa's fate is. She was an abused child, who didn't take her frustrations out on the robots, but instead saved many of them from the junkyard and treated them like family. But as we know, no good deed goes unpunished. Tessa's kindness is what eventually doomed humanity and killed her. But she wasn't just killed. The drone she once saved used her corpse as a costume. If this isn't cruel and sad, I don't know what is.
So refreshing to see a series where the ‘power of love’ doesn’t snap someone out of their rage-induced frenzy. Instead it’s the power of hormonal embarrassment.
It is perfect. I am still INCREDIBLY depressed about Tessa. She was one of the most kind and empathetic people in the show, and now we just find out she was killed, tortured, and is being used as a suit.
Super sad and tragic. No wonder Cyn erased J, V, and Ns memories of that night. They’d have been too traumatized to do anything. Wonder what J will do when she realizes what actually happened to Tessa. She thinks they’ve been working for her and the company like always and it’s actually been Cyn the whole time. Would be nice to see her try to avenge her “boss.”
If there’s one thing the fandom can agree on it may not be that UzixN is the best ship, but that their dance-fight scene in Promening is what got them to join the fandom. Gotta love ships who’s palettes are complimentary colors 💜💛
@@sophieamandaleitontoomey9343 could argue with that, but anyways i prefered NUzi as siblings vibes rather than couple...also no questionable timeline stuff.
@@krzystajer5485 I mean if you wanted them to stay friends, fair enough. To each their own. For me though, from the beginning, it seemed like this direction was inevitable. Especially in episodes 2, 3 and 4 where N started to really snap out of that puppy love with V and started to really develop something real with Uzi.
@@krzystajer5485N and V are basically siblings. NUzi is just a better couple imo, they were humble and kind to each other since they met, it's like they were meant to be together.
4:34 Additional notes: The Intern and Yeva notice something wrong with the missing Sentinels, and as soon he enters the room, he saw the duplicate patch and say it out loud for Yeva
Yup, he read the room, both figuratively and literally, fast and acted accordingly, which saved at least worker drones on Copper 9 + indirectly avenged humanity from Cyn's extermination, if Uzi and The Gang manage to overcome Solver
Just days ago i realized the foreshadowing of the tessa skin suit from the moment in the flashback dream where cyn caught a roboroach and merged a barbie doll body to it. Like it is constantly contemplating how to make it work. Creeeeepy
That was genuinely one of my favorite scenes. And the bitch slap Nori gave was amazing. The animation of this episode was on point and the action was awesome
As insane as this sounds, I immediately clocked in to that heart being Nori the moment I saw all the anime stuff around it. Like mother, like daughter after all.
same! my giveaway was the drawing of anime nori on the wall. when first watching, i paused to take a quick look around the room and noticed that. it immediately made sense. like mother like daughter has never been more true.
You know what i just realise? the one that is responsable for all the chaos in this show is not CYN or the Adsolute Solver.. But the person that din't properly disposed CYN😂
I love that in a completely dystopian world filled with insane and the complete opposite of functional characters, N and Uzi’s relationship is the most functional and wholesome one in the series (just my opinion ofc) even if they had a few bumps especially at the beginning of the episode due to how stressful the situation was
The bit around 12:00? Hologram. If you pay attention you can see it vanish when the tentacles drag N away. Tessa-CYN wanted to mess with N, made a hologram of maid-V, then shifted to original-CYN, then revealed true form of tentacles.
Doll's death is literally the FNAF 2 Foxy jumpscare, The Solver(in Tessa's body) literally lunges at Doll while screeching, mfers took inspiration from FNAF. (Or something else, IDK)
When I saw her by the ship, I was so excited and then was immediately let down when it was more about Thad, Lizzy, and Khan If only J got more screen time
@@Rhys1176 my personal favorite J quote is “N you are worthless and hopeless, and if the company allowed I would straight up kill you myself” An old one, but iconic
Funnily enough, that seems like something J would have wanted lmao. Considering her whole pro-company shtick. So most of her screen time being in an ad is on brand for her.
Ah yes! I was just thinking about it! This episode went HARD in every way, the VA's kicking ass, the animation, the music, the SOUND DESIGN??? Definetly the highest technical quality seen in any of these episodes so far! I can't wait to see what EP8 has in store!
This whole episode solidified why I love N and Uzi together. The fact that as a result of being together, they've grown so much as people and together as a pair. Uzi has learned to embrace emotions other than angst and anger and letting someone in, and N has learned to grow a backbone and not blindly follow orders and stand up for what he believes in. The fact that he decapitated Tessa without hesitation because she tried to kill the woman he loves? Love it. The fact that Uzi sacrificed herself to save N where in episode 1 she probably wouldn't have done that for anyone? Love it. It shows how much the two have grown together and why they're a natural fit for each other first as friends and now as lovers. Because that's what a good partner should do: bring out your best and inspire you to be the best version of yourself that you can be. N and Uzi in this episode deeply showcase that in the best way imaginable. And it's why it's always been a no brainer for me in this whole shipping debate between Uzi and V for N. These two compliment each other, grow together and as far as I'm concerned, were meant for each other and I'm glad Liam agrees.
This episode was def worth the wait and I loved how even when N was trying to snap Uzi out of her Cyn induced possession he still couldn’t bring himself to actually tell Nori they’re together. Also I really love how the show was able to have Khan become “apocalyptic father” without it seem out of character
Honestly, i think her death made sense as Doll refused to work with others and thought she could do it alone, and that's why she died. Uzui, on the other hand, trusted N and V was able to work with others that's why she survived while Doll died
@@4wheal While I do agree it makes logical sense, having most of it happen offscreen does feel a bit jarring. She feels kinda like a side-boss, but got axed because there wasn't enough time or something?
I liked seeing doll actually being frightnend b4 she got jumpscared to death, it shows that she isnt the postmortal op charecter but still a worker drone kid
Thats reasonable, what she what she heard coming for her was far worst than a dissasmbly drone. I wouldnt say kid since the prom episode confirmed that everyone is like 18 to 19 or 17 or so
@@jourdanfarquharson4697 yeah, but the thing is: so what? i mean, what difference does that make? Sorry, if i might have sounded rude, it's jsut that for some time there has been a very annoying "trend" on this channel's "fanbase" (both for drones and digital circus) where they are obsesssed with the fictional character's age, to the point of bothering the creators as well, all so that they can have an excuse to attack those who ship and/or makes fanarts of the characters. that's why i started to get naturally annoyed whenever i see someone questioning their fictional age if that was not you intention, which most likely is the case, then i honestly hope i didn't offend you, it was not the intention
@@jourdanfarquharson4697 tldr: my bad, didn't want to be offensive, but there were reasons for the jumpy reaction, mostly because stupid people on social media
14:21 I'm pretty sure Nori isn't looking for a way out, she's looking for the USB crucifix. If you look at the one she threw away at 2:50 it's subtly different, so she went back down to look again.
The Proof of Doll's Death is a Blink and you miss it. Doll was Alive, as a Heart/Core until skin walker Cyn ate her it. after putting her head back on, she dragged aside Doll, and ate Doll's Core. and when did the whole reveal to Uzi and N
Strange but fun fact: You can see tessa/cyn in episode 4. Its at 4 minutes and 59 seconds, uzi looks in the further in the large main room she is in and looks to the next part where in the side of the room tou can see a mattress on its side and a hee figure fan be seen on it. Rhe next shoot its gone. But a hand pulls away around the corner so yea, That a thing.
Fun fact: In other dubs, N and Uzi are straight up referred to as dating, *_AND_* at the part she yells about being gross, it's instead about how he should have discussed first before telling them or something lol
I really REALLY hope that Murder Drones just somehow, someway, surpasses views with TADC, like I know TADC has almost 300M views but i just wanna hope, like I just want something to happen that makes Glitch feel slightly more motivated to work on Murder Drones season 2. I’ve been deprived of Murder Drones content for TOO long now and I need MORE, PLEASE. 🙏🙏
From the get-go of TADC, I knew it'd probably even scare MD into not putting much more effort into the show before it ends. I hope it won't actually happen, but I wouldn't be surprised
Fun little tid bit : Tessa being cyn was foreshadowed in ep 6 when they made it to the elevator one of the sentinel's scanned 'tessa' and it said how she was [null]
Imagine seeing your daughter for the first time in two decades as a possessed host, and her five seconds of consciousness made her kick you into a giant flesh pit
Maybe I am overannualizing here, but I get the feeling that N, grabbing Uzi's hand during the fight, only for said hand to be cut of immediately, foreshadows that their relationship is going to have a tragic end.😢
To be fair, doll is dead, and it wasn’t off screen. Cyn hovering over the body of doll is her eating dolls “core” or “heart thing” and she struggles before being eaten. And I love how this show doesn’t hold back punches!
Probably Not all of them, the fact that the entire plan here is to destroy the planet and nothing else implies that the other planets are alive and kicking, and she’s only on this one because there is an immediate threat here and N is her favorite.
As far as I can gather, any drone that is or has been infected with AbsoluteSolver can only be truly dead if their heart is destroyed (HEY LOOK AT THAT, ANOTHER VAMPIRE ALUSION). Notice how Cyn goes for Uzi's heart with the sword. However, disassembly drones have the added benefit of being rebuilt by Cyn regardless of if the heart is destroyed or not, as seen with J. Nori was able to come back because though her body was destroyed, her heart wasn't, and that's why she's scuttling around as a drone heart. This is also why Doll's death is displayed with her chest ripped wide open, and then her heart promptly eaten when Cyn had the chance. She ain't recovering from this.
I'm so happy to see Nuzi become a reality but it means nothing if one of them die. I've heard so many times that Liam doesn't like happy endings so I'm praying that he will have mercy on us and give us one. Also hoping that Nori isn't dead, because Uzi didn't really get the chance to meet her. I think Cyn/Solver seems too overpowered to beat, it's hard to picture anyone being able to do it. I don't think Doll will be back because Cyn ate her core (poor Doll) I agree with you about her death being pointless. Also been trying to think of how Uzi could get back to Copper 9 (I think she's floating below it) Realistically she wouldn't be able to fly being in space, but I wonder if she would be able to teleport like Doll does. Anyway I really enjoyed your video I'm probably unhealthily obsessed with this show and it's kind of like having someone to talk about it with watching these reviews and theories.
I also thought that we had a flash forward instead of thinking that was Nori, they're so similar 🤣🤣🤣 The flight scene was glorious & Uzi drop kicking her mother into the pit shocked me into laughter. I can't believe there was so many signs to the reveal about Tessa, the foreshadowing is incredible
You know what, as an Envy guy… good for them. I’m just glad something was officially made canon, so shipping wars can finally stop over a question that was asked for like a year and a half. I’m just sad that N and V (at least so far) never truly got to say goodbye to each other. If V’s still alive, I do hope she and N will get to talk about their relationship and reconcile over everything. And no, I don’t mean that relationship in a romantic sense.
I want them to meet again so much, also I don't think V is dead. There was no corpse in the teaser except for a chopped sentinel tail and a trail of blood/oil. So V might've dragged herself out of there. Besides, Lizzy was texting a "secret friend" so that COULD be V. Also as a Nuzi shipper, mad respect for still shipping Envy after everything lol
My theory about the ending is that Copper-9 had been basically blown up for a long time, and they've been living on a large fragment that remained (with everyone just assuming the planet was still intact.) In the last few episodes, they kept delving deeper and deeper, and then Uzi fell down the final deepest hole which brought her to the "bottom side" of the fragment. I think at some point, they had to create artificial gravity since the fragment didn't have enough mass, but in the times when they lost gravity, it was the gravity-generator losing power. I think Khan may know more than he's letting on, or he used to and his memory got wiped.
I just imagine V pulling up riding the sentinels like ostriches, the red sentinel to be excact with others behind That would be a badass scene Lets hope V did make it
14:01 No, actually in ep5, when uzi is done with N&V’s memories, she overrides Cyn’s program of her being their admin (as shown in ep 1 at 14:24 when N was rebooting) to uzi being the new admin shown in ep5 at 18:42
Theory about Uzi‘s current situation (that I also left a comment about in the MD ep in question): Uzi is obviously not dead or in space, as the show cannot function without her (not to mention N can’t either). Uzi has been dragged into the belly of the beast, and I do think that her body has been destroyed. HOWEVER, Uzi is infected with the absolute solver, a program that, at its core, keeps its hosts from dying. Uzi is also a host of Cyn, and since she hasn’t been “exorcised,” she is still part of Cyn’s hive mind. So, I think that Uzi’s (along with Nori and Doll’s) consciousness/code has been assimilated into the Absolute Solver code, or Cyn’s mind, if you will, since this would be the only way the solver would be able to keep them alive. They are trapped, with no way to escape, left for dead without hope… at least for now lol. This is not the first time Uzi has been in another bot’s code/consciousness. She is a master hacker, venturing through N and V’s memories, embedding herself in N’s code to keep him safe from Cyn, and taking over her classmate’s minds for no reason other than they pissed her off (ep 2). Uzi has also shown she can overpower Cyn, given she has enough angst lol (ep 5 and 7). My theory for ep 8 is Uzi will realize her situation and, with the help of Nori and Doll (once she finds them in the hive mind) will traverse Cyn’s mind and destroy it from the inside out. Uzi might even take over TesCyn and find a way to fix everything that Cyn has done, not just to her planet, but to her friends and family. A part of me hopes this isn’t the case, as it would most likely mean the end of the series 😢 but hey, anything can happen. Murder drones and Liam Vickers are not known to be predictable, in any way shape or form.
I have been waiting on you to make a video about the episode and here it is wooo! "RIP, Sorry, Suck it." YES SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE ONES IN THE BACK (edit) Also: 1:28 who gave us the same mindset right now because that is an absolute mood
One thing that would of been noticed if you manage to pause is that when Tessa/Cyn is revealed eating, she eats Doll’s “heart”. Pretty sure they need that to rebuild and such. I personally think Doll is now gone.
What could happen is that J is distracted by Thad and Lizzy while N, using the key Uzi gave him in her "Last moments" steals the ship and goes deciding not to save J, solidyfying his independance. Cyn blows up Copper-9 again, for real this time, and then epic Space battle of N and Uzi Vs CYN
I felt so bad for N. Much like Thor he has lost so much. His maternal figure now turned into a skinsuit, his old crush trapped with Sentinels, he's been decapitated twice, accidentally traumatized new girlfriend and loses her too. I really hope this show doesnt end in 1 season
the whole wearing her skin thing creeped me out most because they already looked fairly similar from what you can see of tessa big fluffy hair thats shorter in the back w 2 long strands in the front big bow just the fact that you can see so little of the humans, yet what you can see is so similar its eerie, considering her fate
