confession: while the fandom was still fairly new after the pilot, i got so fed up with the “jax is secretly nice deep down” theories that i actively started hoping he’d get worse. and i still hope for that (though i don’t really want to see him become the main antagonist, as oxymoronic as that sounds. i like him being a terrible person put through Unspeakable Horrors)
here’s my take on mordecai’s love life: him ending up with a third, entirely different woman is certainly realistic (most of us aren’t gonna find The One in our 20s), but it doesn’t feel like a *narratively* satisfying payoff. when he got together with stef in the finale, i wasn’t thinking “yes, this is a better ending for him then getting together with cj or margaret, good for him” (then again, maybe there’s a silver lining: cj and margaret are lucky enough not to marry a guy like mordecai lmao)
Going back at this, I have more hope V is alive. They seem to have implied it’s still unknown she’s alive in episode 8. I strongly believe V will go in for a last minute save
Don't feel Ozzie did anything but validated Fizz's feelings. Definitely Cash though. He popped right into my mind from that scene even before the trailer confirms it's him
Why do you moan while you talk, its like you are doing a liquid chris chan impression while at the same time doing a horrible impression of it at the same time
I actually liked the contrast of Blitzø having a hard time dealing with Loona vs Stolas's life being in actual danger since that line from Blitzø about Stolas getting hurt brought it back home for me. It reminds me that shit gets real serious in spite of all the random shenanigans
I definitely understand not fully connecting with the existential aspects of DC, but as a philosophy and existentialism nerd, it is easily my favorite part of it.
Damn man I'm sorry all you got is a bunch of rabid fans of the show literally proving your point by saying "It's hell! What did you expect?" as if that's good reasoning for the horrific writing
The missing mom vs the missing kids point velma made doesn’t even work. Mutiple kids were found dead and Velma's mom could have just abandoned her family. Also the main cast are minors so it creates alot of weird moments that the show never calls attention to
I'm glad Jax isn't the troubled jerk trope, I've seen so much of it in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Holtel. Its just nice to have a likable but mean character who can potentially harm the main cast if he gets bored
I know someone made a Doomguy joke, not sure who, but I’m pretty certain Doomguy will destroy any hellborn and imp cities and civilization. Sinners, on the other hand, unless Doomguy has an angelic weapon, those sinners will keep coming and coming. And then there’s Charlie, who’s too adorable to kill! (Don’t tell Vaggie I said that)
Have we even seen Stella and Via actually interact on-screen before. Also didn't Stella make a phonecall to Stryker about fridging Stolas right in front of Stolas and Via. So i'm going to assume Via knows about it.
When Cyn takes off the meat suit, she goes over and slurps up Doll's heart crab. It is shown at 21:54. It makes me mad, but based on current info, she's super dead. Also, the strange reactions by the worker drones, especially to the death of their fellow drones, make sense when you realize that they are a whole society that their only knowledge of dealing with emotions come from trying to emulate the humans that they may or may not have actually seen in person. So their stunted emotions do make sense.
