Good work mate. I went for the Hyte Y70 case for the touch screen and very good cooling, the 14900k CPU with 64 gig of ram at 6000 hz and the Suprim 4090 GPU with 4k 144 hz monitor which I can max out in most games easy, I love it. This PC is a beast and should last at least 5 years. PS ; I am not going to say the cost, but you only live once, cheers.

I'm looking to buy a new gaming pc after 7 years. And yes, I will buy it pre-biuld because I don't want the hassle. My pc was a monster 7 years ago and now I can still play comfortably modern games in 1080p but it's time to upgrade. My point is: I'm a bit lost after not following the market for a few years, but your video was very comprehensive and to the point! I know that "bigger number = better" but you showed me what would be overkill and I thank you for that. Great video!

Got me a 4070super for my nvidia pc. I think it’s a great card. I am not having too much issues at 1440p and ray tracing with 12 gigs vram. I can even do path tracing in cyberpunk and Allen wake 2. But Allen wake 2 I turn it off for better performance. I have 7900xt for my main pc but I feel like the 12 gig will be fine for few years as long as people remember to adjust settings. At $600 it should have had 16 gigs tho

$600 for a 12GB 192-bit bus "midrange" card. Which is like 5 times as good as a Steam Deck. A lot of things really feel "off" there!

looking to do video editing and 3D work, should I spend more on a 4070 Ti Super for the 16 GB VRAM, or stick with like a 4070 super? was considering the 4060 16gb, but the overall power of that card seems rather lackluster imo.

I would say avoid 4060, its low processing capabilities will bottleneck your workflow as you progress. The 4070ti's added 4gb of memory provides a great buffer and of course it has more C cores so generally it will help queit a bit.

Maybe look at the 7800xt? It has 16gb of vram but I'm not sure how AMD performs in video editing compared with Nvidia. Something worth looking into!

I got the rtx 4070 super for 1080p high refresh rate gaming. To be honest, i love the card since it's not overkilll and i know i can get high fps in every games at that resolution.

A lot of people end up using the 4070 for FHD gaming and it makes sense too. It dominates frame rates at 1080p for sure!

Hey so I’m thinking the 4070 super, currently have the 3060 TI but most my games have a drop in fps when I go to 2k gaming. Is 4070 best option ??

The 4070S is a visible jump from the 3060ti and would be helpful at 1440p for sure

Why would you recommend a high refresh rate 4K monitor for the 4080 while having the benchmark barely break 60

I already stated this is not a benchmark annlysis video, that was one game out of 100's for refrence. There are plenty of modern games that exceed 60fps @4k on a 4080.

No one ever, said they got enough performance and don’t want more. Get as high end card as you can, preferably 4070 Super looks also to be good value. Don’t skimp on VRAM either, for 1440p should be good with 12GB, but for any higher you need 16GB VRAM guys. Also don’t get stuck with needing to use Ultra settings for everything, Ultra settings are only marketing to sell the cards. Usually High settings + only RT reflections are indistinguishable from Ultra RT and you get way higher performance. 😊

Great advice! I definitely concur about high vs ultra settings. Even RT is not always a game changer, it depends on the game and how well they utilize it. In some cases playing with RT off makes a nominal difference in visual appeal where by others its a dramatic change.

I rather support the gpu underdog platforms, the Radeon and Arc platforms. Nvidia don't need any more marketshare.

I currently have a 7800XT on my gaming rig and prefer it to the 4070. With that said lots of people buy Nvidia so this video was menat as a gudie to help anyone who may be intrested. Thanks for watching!
