Tommy's feud with Buzz Sawyer back in Georgia Championship Wrestling was beyond epic. Definitely won't ever see feuds like that again

Now if Tommy Rich isn’t a cautionary tale I don’t know what is. In 1980 there was no bigger star. But Tommy hit super Nova to early. He was down be by 86 and that’s being generous. I was in 4th grade when he was having his legendary feud with Buzz Sawyer. After that he just faded into the background. I’m not taking away any of his accomplishments. He did a lot in his short time on top. Some stars shine to bright. Thanks for the memories Tommy Rich. The baby face of all baby faces.
