I agreed with everything except for the stoppage time complaint. If players don't waste time, there won't be as much stoppage time. It's that simple.

I love the way Sam Kerr celebrates her goals! Embrace the brand...its no longer just sports. These women are celebrities and people pay theatre priced tickets. I think live games are so slow at times so it all helps.

Two points of view. 1- The team playing for Swanson: give her the ball! 2-Swanson working for the team: pass them the ball when in front of goal! What about a third point: Teamwork, working together for the success of the team.

She is the star of the team . it should be built around her. Look at Messi, the system in Argentina is built for him same when he was in Barça. He is the star of the team

8:51 When first hearing about Sophia getting a yellow card on the bench, I thought it was some bizarre conspiracy to keep her from playing so she wouldn't get injured for USWNT duties. But then seeing the footage, it's quite bizarre. Maybe the ball scooted under the bench, maybe Sophia knocked it under the bench to waste time. Quite strange!

The Chicago Red Stars aren't using Swanson properly. Yeah. Right. Let's see, the Red stars just travelled to Kansas City to play the team at the top of the table and came away with one point. Again, on the road against the 1st place team. The score was 2-2. Swanson got a goal and an assist. But Chicago's not using Swanson? No sale. And as for stoppage time, you got your answer. At last, referees are finally doing a good job at giving the proper amount of stoppage time. Kudos to both the NWSL and the referees. Well done! Eventually, the knuckle draggers will come around.

I do feel bad for Sophia, though. I'm like... it was silly, it probably shouldn't have happened given she was on a yellow and not a rookie, but dang... I'm sure no one feels worse than her rn.
