It is super relaxing being out on the water, even if you aren't catching. Glad to hear you are out there having a good time FishForDinner! Appreciate you watching the episode and commenting
I love this video bro. I literally live around the corner from this pond and I fish here often and catch all the same things you did. I love your content. I subscribed and liked. I’ll be starting a channel soon as well
Hey Kadeem! Thank you for watching. I was at Baisley yesterday but got skunked haha. I love your neighborhood! It has a ton of charm. You should totally start a channel up. It is really nice being able to review the footage and get better at angling. Like a video log book too with the way your videos are archived. Cheers Kadeem!
Haha oh man! That turtle is a true OG. I bet the frog bite is on fire at Baisley right now. Thank you for watching man! Hope you are having fun fishing out there this summer.
I was just talking to my brother about the snakeheads at that park haha. They freak me out but I might conquer my fear sooner than later. Cheers Toefur! Thank you for watching
Has anyone actually targeted snakeheads in corona ? I’ve read surveys that indicated they are there. But i would really appreciate a recent confirmation from a fisherman to save me a hike. Any info would be awesome! I’ll even barter an ocean fishing trip :) thanks for this video. Def helped and appreciated
@@theevilg3nius yes ive seen people directly target them or even catch them by accident on worm and bobber. Most people who are keen on targeting them in corona will do it in spring, but nighttime, any season is the next best bet. There are large, dark frogs all over the place. Along the creek by the highway overpasses is where i've seen people using bass frogs to target them. I think they're relatively difficult to catch, but i've seen big ones caught there. Good luck!
Hey Bob! just found out about your channel, im new in the city and had spin all my life in Aegean Sea, so looking forward to fish in NYC and i wonder; what kind of legalization does pond fishing need in NYC? do they let you fish even when you are not a citizen of USA ?
Welcome to NYC Can! Thank you for watching the channel! You need a license for freshwater and saltwater. They sell combined all waters too, you can get it online pretty easy. Just need to follow catch and release for the NYC ponds and use barbless hooks.
I was there like 3 weeks ago and got skunked. Just one of those days. I did see some bass swirling on the surface in certain areas but was mostly looking for crappie. Baisley is great but kinda tricky with all the hydrilla and submerged tree branches.
