AHHHHHH you did it! I can’t express how honored I am that you made the biryani, and I hope you and Viv enjoyed it to the fullest. This dish isn’t easy-it’s a labor of love with all its prep and cook time, but I knew you’d rise to the challenge. And most importantly, I really wanted to see you work for that rent money. You should try making mochi for your birthday. I would celebrate my birthday with an ice cream mochi here and there and its been a staple ever since I was young. Its a tradition for Japanese famliles to have mochi for their birthday so its really fitting. You could also have red bean paste filling which is my favourite. MAKE IT FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!

ERIC N. VIV. Make MENUDO for the Mexican community. It is a traditional Mexican dish and we usually eat during holidays because it’s labor intensive but if you can make this, I am sure you can take on the challenge. I seen y’all mess up some Mexican tacos so take it another step further heheh Menudo consists of Beef tripe (cow stomach), broth, hominy, lime, onions, cilantro, oregano, red chili peppers. Sooo yummy

As the summer weather makes your balls stick and underboob sweat form, I recommend making my countries best soup -- ŠALTIBARŠČIAI. It's basically cold beetroot soup that goes really well with eggs and hot potatoes. Looks like that purple drank too.

Hi Eric, I come from Serbia which is located on the Balkans, a Peninsula in southeastern Europe. Around here people really go crazy about our traditional dish called ''Sarma'' - it is a minced meat wrapped in (sour) cabbage. It is kinda similar to the Korean-style cabbage wrapped rolls (if I am not wrong with how it is named) It would be awesome and fun to see you try food from my culture. All best hehe

Eric, my American man, I have a proposal. If you are into pastry, trust me and try this Danish cake called ( Hindbærsnitte ). It’s really easy to make and delicious. I know it’s completely different from the traditional Eric food but I hope you will give it a go. Yours sincerely the Danish $eric supporter. Ingredients: For the Pastry: • 200 g (1 cup) butter, cold and cut into small pieces • 100 g (1/2 cup) sugar • 300 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 egg For the Filling: • 200 g (7 oz) raspberry jam For the Glaze: • 200 g (1 1/2 cups) powdered sugar • 2-3 tbsp water or lemon juice For Decoration: • Sprinkles

Ciao mi amici! I recommend you try to make Arancini (Italian stuffed rice balls). Sort of reminiscent of Onigiri! One of my absolute favorites.

you guys should make Camarones a la diabla or Chile Rellenos w/ Mexican rice / two of my fave Spanish dishes. if you make the chili rellenos you can stuff them with cheese or tuna. I like to prepare my tuna w/ can of corn & tomatoe,/ lil bit of onion, mayo, salt/pepper/ mustard

Some little explaining about the Saffron: Saffron owes its sky-high price to scarcity. It is grown in very small quantities and in a few places in the world. Saffron is extracted from the stamens of a crocus plant and each crocus contains only three stamens that must be harvested by hand. For one kilo of saffron, approximately 150 to 200 thousand flowers must be picked. Hope you understand now why its expensive! But beware!! There is a lot or fraud going around so you really need to have some legit labels on them. ❤❤
