I see so many of the exact same type video's on RU-vid these days and I feel like sometimes the overkill on tags and challenge video's(although those can also be fun from time to time;) ) is overshadowing the deeper/meaningfull/video's that simply require more effort and that's a shame. You should def check out Brooklyn Heights. It's beautiful. My favorite bakery is Cranberries. They have amazing breakfast sandwiches just made. the owner literally makes them around 4 am in the morning to have them ready. It's so good :)

I think you did a beautiful job capturing the beautiful side of new york but you failed to show the real side of new york. I practically lived my whole life in New York. The way you show things it's not the same way for everyone. New York is the city of money. The prices are increasing. So you are always spending.The streets have become dirtier then before. New York is more of a place to visit.

You should definitely continue this series! It's so helpful :) x

The west village by the river is awesome, it has the high line, the Whitney museum and a whole bunch of cool shops and restaurants!

I love this series already! When you'll be doing Midtown Tour make sure you step by Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ for lunch! It's inexpensive and sooooo good! It's so fun over there because you can grill your own food. Yum :D Love you Tess!

I was born and raised in NYC and I have been living in SOFLO for the past 8 years. I have forgotten how beautiful my city is. I am moving back from the hot weather to the cold weather in december and can't wait to visit all these spots and see them with new eyes.Thank you!! I loved this series.

New York is now on the list of places to live in someday

I just got back from New York myself and dumbo was pretty awesome, but it's every hipsters dream. Every shop or store was "photogenic"'as in, hipster style of things everywhere. It got pretty annoying after we saw the same theme in every single place. Julianna's was good, but they have terrible service. Our server came to us 1 time to get our order. The guy that dropped off the food was the busser. It's pretty cramped too so be ready to be packed in a tight spot. We went on a Thursday and it was full with 1 large family and a few couples spread out. The place seemed a bit stuck up, and I say that because everyone was eating pizza with a fork. We asked for just a cheese pizza because my girl is a vegetarian and the guy said they couldn't do that. So we got the margarita, which was ok. Sauce was plain and didn't have much flavor. Pretty much dumbo was awesome for the views, they were pretty spectacular, and don't do shake shack, they're everywhere like Starbucks do something unique

Tess, I loved this video! I live in NY, next place I recommend you or anyone who lives or visits NY should go to LIC piers it's also beautiful at night and even more towards the summer. You'll know you're in the right place once you see the "COKE COAL "sign. They have a beautiful restaurant called BLEND that restaurant has an amazing view of the city. I'm sure you'll love it as well as others!!!
