NYC High Line & Hudson River Walk - 4K with Captions 

Yeah, my dad spent part of his childhood on Staten Island. He didn't recognize much from this walk. I went to NY for the first time in 1988. It has definitely changed a lot. I didn't see a single burned out car on the side of the street this time. :)

Yeah, New Yorkers need those parks to get some stress relief from living on top of each other in a crime-riddled and expensive city with high taxes and illegal immigrants all over the streets.

There are actually plenty of new developments right alongside this park, the area of the Vessel being one of them. The park has attracted developers, as people want to live next to it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't film a walk around Time Square. I figured all that has been done before. ....plus, it was my least favorite part about my visit there. I also filmed a 10 mile walk around Central Park, a walk from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal to the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge, a Little Italy and Chinatown walk, and an evening walk.

I loved the novel architecture shapes of the buildings and the Vessel and the plantings of the High Line. The Hudson Park and the Piers were fantastic places to people watch and see great feats of inventive technology and engineering. The Little Island was a great garden to walk through virtually.
