All med school very very expensive. All med school needs tuition free bcoz every year how many doctors suicide for tuition n Mcat exam n 12 years study.
Tell this to her Jewish students tortured by Hamas now (or who survived this horror), Jewish students terrorized on campuses, Jewish YU students of Jewish history, Jewish education (her field), etc. who can't afford their tuition and will earn (if graduate and find a job) a fraction of what her beneficiaries will earn (most students at Einstein are not Jewish). I doubt they are amazed too. Not everyone loves selfish/self-promotional prostitutes.
This is a terrific way to use one billion. (Which will be invested so that student tuition is paid with those earnings.) The money can ONLY be used for tuition. One of the conditions of the gift is that the facility NOT be named after Dr. Gottesman.
Kudos to the lady providing tuition. Many physicians question the choice to become a physician due to interest on loans, missing income into the late twenties, office costs, charting requirements and insurance costs.
@@Quaker-tc8ue That's not possible without further donations. They clearly state in the news report that its only 1 billion. Is the person donating going to give more down the road? Are they going to limit the covered students using interest? I'm just saying they could have easily added more info here and didn't.
We’re so desensitized to monetary politics that you can’t even fathom how much 1 BILLION is. It’s a whole football field MORE than a million dollars. Like, your brain is not capable of understanding how much money that actually is. That’s enough for at least the next 20 years for a set number of students per academic year.

Helping the homeless should unless a patient is very sick or on.their deathbed. I do feel sorry for them. We shouldn't have humans living outside in the snow and rain and laying in that, that's terrible,, we should all help the homeless because they deserve to have a roof over their head just like we do.
