Here is an update from the Nitro Performance crew as they recently set a new personal best and class record in the True Street Class at the 2013 MIR World Cup Finals. They were able to run a best time of 8.7 at 172 MPH!!

As Long as the front end isn't a 1 piece mold and the hood, fenders and bumper can come off separately you can have them fiber glass or carbon fiber and still be in the street class.

Fiberglass front and a carbon fiber hood? wtf man but I agree on slicks but you can easily change wheels for street wheels but for drag purpose street tyres would never hook up

Side mirros ect ect. True stret doesn't mean passing smog and all that, putting an exhaust makes your car illegal in some states. Headlights, tail lights, blinkers, bumpers, fenders and original glass makes it true street.

yes i did with with a dayly drivin 98 dc2 k20 swap making 550~whp i did about 60 passes and put well over 80k miles on it the only thing i fixed in the engine betwene that was the turbo, twice. the clutch and a transmision... thats about it

I built eladios motors back during this time at VPM. These high boost, 1000+hp engines last about 5-20 passes if your lucky. At 15-25k a engine... it's not a kids game

Nathan Gould Big deal, they're 426Ci Hemis that run a 70Ci super charger on up to 50psi and Nitro-methane. They're over a million dollar car, sure it's impressive but I'm more impressed by 4 bangers running 8s.

Lol did the gtr guy just said he can walk over this civic lol dude your running a 8.9 and he is running 8.7. And civic alway have a higher top speed then any other cars at the track. Plus gtr are automatic and awd. 10 years old kid can drive it. And run 8.9 lol go home and sleep.

sameer jura you're very wrong the gtr r32 r33 r34 and r35 you can get in a manual transmission so you're wrong and a civic doesnt always have the best speed try a 1998 Toyota supra rz would destroy this car stock lol and you're obviously a civic owner cause you are so for the civic you want to make what you have look like the best
