Aspects of this song worth noting: -A sort of empty echo to represent the emptiness that souls afflicted with HATE feel -Ear to Ear whispers that demonstrate the dark whispers that HATE filled souls hear -A heartbeat to show that HATE cannot live without a living breathing host -A ticking clock (later in the song) representing the limited time a person has after hosting HATE, since HATE kills the soul after it has served its purpose

Once there was a little girl, Pure and Innocent. But she faded into darkness and soon didn't let any light escape. Red glimmering light, But black was surrounding it. The only way to save her Is to find the shining locket.

Okay for a second there I straight up thought the title said, "Necrophilia" and I seriously started to think Nevan Dove was going crazy with the name choice, but then I read it again and it said "Nyctophilia".

"Comment about how it should be called Heliophobia". Then again, that's Betty's thing. This makes it sound more unique.

I imagine that this could play if/when hatred takes over Bete Noire.

OKAY, so I am not kidding when I say this. I was listening to this then I went to another tab to text my friend, while it was still playing, and there was BLACK GLITCHES ALL over the screen. Then I went back and paused it, then went back to the tab where i was texting and the glitches were GONE. Creepy, right?? oh, and btw, i'm sitting in a dark room right now...

This. Is. AWESOME. It's so sinister, dark, foreboding, eerie, and fits wonderfully with what we've learned about HATE from Glitchtale. Though quieter and calmer than some themes, the music you've created here just feels... right, but in a very wrong way. It doesn't give the feeling of instant and overwhelming hostility taking over the user, but rather it gives more of a feeling of a slow manipulation of all negative thoughts of the user. Every jealous moment, every frustration, every angry temptation, it's all amplified and twisted beyond recognition, until even things the user felt were good now seem like a threat to them. Just like what we saw with Chara and Asriel, he couldn't feel anything towards her but anger and resentment, despite all the time they had spent together as children and how close they had been. This track is so ominous but perfectly fitting to the trait, or rather this darkened version of a trait, in both the worst and best ways.

I can see this being the song used in the opening scene for Cami’s Season 2 finale. It’s not intense enough for a fight, but it’s a good theme that builds up to the events.

OH WOW, THIS FITS HATE SO MUCH So, everybody is making requests for next melody, I see? Hmmm... What if you will make Camila Cuevas' theme? I mean, the idea of mysterious animator, who's spending their days and nights while animating... and if you will visit their dark room, the animator will be like "HSSSSSS! GET OUT OF HERE! NOT THE SUNLIGHT, PLEASE, OR MY ADOBE FLASH WILL CRUSH AGAIN!" I mean, animators are nearly psycho, why not.

Wow... i just found your channel but tbh...? If you ask me - you're doing even better job in making soundtrack than nyx himself. I just love the way, you're making these themes and the way, they fit perfectly to characters. Please continue making this masterpiece. I would be amazed if one of your tracks would actually end up in Glitchtale episode. Especially this one.

This describes hate perfectly as Hate is not always the explosive emotion it is portrayed as. True Hate is more like a still water, but very poisonous to drink.

Man, everything in this song is just amazing! Its name, also, is something incredible. Wish I was an animator just to make something for this song. This is awesome!!!! For a suggestion, I don't have anything in particular but maybe if you could do more of an action-type thing? Maybe some sort of battle theme, idk. You don't have to, but I've noticed that most of your tracks are focused around slow/mysterious things, so maybe to challenge yourself you could make a faster paced one? Totally your call though.

No one cares about that question, no one thinks what happened to the hater before starting this endless disgust towards someone or something, but hey, no one cares about that right?
