is she was the target, she would have been first while he had surprise... the cops were the target not her... and he likely felt it was an invasion on his property... or they didnt ask him if they could enter his home. cops should never be inside someones house without a warrant. they put her and the public in danger... if they had her for domestic violence they usually set her up in a hotel outside the area until the suspect is arrested... they messed up 😔

You're aware that DV victims do not anticipate becoming that victim when they enter a relationship, and it generally does not begin that way. Usually the perpetrator will spend the first year or 2 (or the pre-marriage stage) love-bombing their victim, whilst also breaking them apart from family and friends and lowering their confidence levels. Then they show their true colors and most women leave but are brought back, some unwillingly, into that relationship. Sometimes the person. Is not aggressive until they are too high or drunk to think clearly, so the SO never sees it coming. Think before you speak and educate yourself on the statistics of DV situations. Also, I am not, nor have I ever been a victim of domestic battery or assault.
