How does toll evader cost them? Everything is trash. They’ve made what it cost them to build those bridges 1000 times over already. The city is taxing us to live at this point.. And somehow they can always find some idiot who is ok with being taxed on top of being taxed on top of being taxed.

As a mechanic, you wouldn't beleive the amount of cars through the shop with plates like that.Ive seen plates with stickers on over 1 or 2 letters, leaves "glued" on, bike racks to block it, burnt plates, folded plates. It's so obvious.
I’ve enjoyed Greg’s reporting over the years. But, he got a little sidetracked here. The story is supposed to be about automobile fare evasion and the steps being taken to crack down on that. He goes off on a tangent about subway and rail fares.
People just don’t understand that we need a viable economy. Fare and toll are crucial to pay so that we can continue to have a working economy and transportation services.
Imagine how NYC and it's subway system would be so much safer if the MTA and NYPD put the same effort in fighting crime in the city and attacks on the subway.

IMO those e-motor cycles, E-bikes and scooters need plates too then u can make shit tons more money… in tickets, they cut whenever they want, ride on walkways, speeding, red light dashing, etc they do all thing with no consequence….
Instead of this why not enforce the gas stations to keep the people in check and not have to play cat and mouse with both cars and illegal mopeds and motorcycles

They should start with their own officers. A first ammendment auditor has evidence of police officers putting illegal licens plate covers on their cars and he tells other officers and they refuse to do anything about it but then they want all of us to follow the same rules they break. These officers need to look in the mirror and start with their own departments.

In NY, murderers are not prosecuted. I don’t expect toll evaders will be punished. They might get fined but they won’t pay these fines. Especially, certain protected demographics.

Jokes on them. Me and almost everyone on my block have mastered passing through this bridges with in plain sight COVERED plates. Jokes on the MTA and the loser NYS police there trying to catch people.
