There are a few that say that, but it does tell you which shades those are on the back. I used them on my eyes anyway and I didn’t go blind or anything lol 🤷🏽♀️
It's because the FDA hasn't approved those pigments as safe for the eye area yet, meanwhile they are considered harmless in every other country. There's no need to be afraid!
@@cindylynn-j9iIn addition to what @kaspermord1519 said, when you DO see the colours that say NOT to apply anywhere near the eye area, it’s more than likely that there’s a red eyeshadow or another similar shade in the palette. Although there are other dye shades, the most notorious is *red dye colour #5* because of how many colours use that particular dye colour. The main reason they warn people of that particular shade of dye is because 1. It can stain your skin & 2. Many people have an allergy to that dye colour!!!! So sorry for the long response but I thought you might want a little bit more of an explanation about why an eyeshadow shade like this has people all up in arms!!!!!!!! 😂🤣
It's due to a lack of FDA approval. Meanwhile the pigments are considered save in other countries, so the warning is only a regional thing. Go ahead and use them on the eye area.
