Awesome review, I used to watch ur vids years ago back in the days of the 295x2. I needed to find out about the 280mm rad in this case and no one else had any info about it and you answered my question exactly as i needed it. You got a new sub and like today, thanks mate
Just compare it to NZXTs own MANTA case, which is still around same price. Price of this doesn't look that bad considering tempered glass, better cable management and RGB integration (that "smart" device is iffy in my eyes)
Very nice.. I am a fan of mATX and ITX.. This is a great example of ITX case done right.. The Zotac Mini graphics cards would fit nice. Most of them are only about 210mm..
Hi Tom. I got this case and planning on put a custom loop in it. Do you see any place where I can mount my pump/reservoir combo? Or the only way I can do it is by mounting it right next to my 240mm rad?
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Nehemiah Grey i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
No mention of cooling and heat transfer! From what I can see you're radiator is blowing heat into the case from the front heating the air that goes into your gpu. A stress test with a focus on cooling is a must for a case review!
This is a public service announcement: DON'T buy any of NZXT's cases that feature that "smart device" which has been shown by Gamers Nexus as being a lousy alternative to simply adding a dedicated front I/O fan control and NEEDS to be operated by a piece of proprietary software after boot. It gives NZXT a reason to unreasonable raise price and charge more for a case that would cost $50 less. Avoid these "machine learning" NZXT cases completely. If you want to learn more of the disgusting things of that smart device like your info being data mined, check out Gamer Nexus's H700i review.
Excalibur I’ve seen The review by Gamers Nexus. While I love NZXT and I’ve been waiting for them to make a case like this one i agree that the smart device is useless and makes the case cost much more than it should. But unless you used a VPN to watch this video i guarantee that google has just done more data mining then the “smart” device in this case will.
+zywypl, sure you can, but you won't ever pay less for the case alone. The Smart Device hurts the value of these cases by making them more expensive when they could be cheaper and much more competitive. I'd rather pay less up front for same or better quality.
dude it basically has a normally separately sold Grid+ and Hue+ in it right from the box... course if you dont plan to use NZXT led strips, case fans or whatever, but you have to install the cam software anyway if you have a Kraken cooler etc., same goes for other brands too
planning to get this case but was just wandering about temps and air flow as i am using veg64 blower type doing some mining...would you suggest this case still?
Please do a video mounting the 3.5" drive. I can kind of picture how it fits but there are no videos explaining it. I want to see if it fits with the 160mm PSU (eg AX760) in place with room for cables or do I need to go something smaller? Thanks
I have a NZXT Manta for the last five years this is just about identical except the external look, in-fact I think NZXT went backwards there is more room in the older manta you can fit 2 240 rads and a full size graphics card in it.
Alright so I have an Asus strix 1080ti and a kraken x52 I'm hoping I could just fit the two in. If not do you have any suggestions as I'm pretty set on this case?
A Question! i want this case but i would like to get cablemods. No the extensions but the full fledged cable. What would be the measurements for this particular case. Are all motherboards the same measurements in terms of how far the psu is from the cpu/ 24pin mobo power or even the gpu? You have sold me on this case but i am completely ignorant to how to even get started on the measurements of the cables. Help please!!!
Trying to figure out if my evga 1080 ti SC edition would fit in here with the nzxt 280mm cooler. its 269mm, which seems like it's going to be very close.
I am looking use the H200 in my new build but currently, own an EVGA 1080ti Hybrid FTW GPU. (GPU length 288.798mm) I want to use a 240mm or 280mm Rad at the front of the case, but notice that you were only able to use a 120mm due to the size of the GPU. Question - Do you think it's possible to Mount/Mod the Radiator fan in the front of the case so only the Radiator is exposed inside the case which may allow for a larger GPU to fit. Any help would be great.
@@OC3D Thanks for the reply. After seeing your build, I really want this case but very worried about using a 120mm radiator on a i9 9900k. It would be perfect if I could get at least a 240mm radiator to fit with my GPU. Keep up the good work
the only thing i don't like is the fan mount in the roof, if you have a 120 AIO just stick it in the back and if its a big heat stink just have it blow out the back.
why tiny tom logan? is there other ppl that use this channel? i mean Linustechtips is after Linus sebastian, Jaz2cents is after Jason............................my question is will an evga ftw3 hybrid 1080ti fit inside with an nzxt x52 rev 2 240mm aio with noctua 120mm Ippc Industrial 3000 rpm x4 inside?
Hey Logan would it be possible for you to measure what the maximum length for radiators is that will fit because I plan to use an AlphaCool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper X-Flow 280mm Radiator and the total length of that is 334mm. The AIO you used in your demo build is 315mm long and it does seem like there is a bit of room left up top and maybe down bottom as well but I'd rather be sure then to order all the stuff and then having to send it back. Sadly NZXT has no technical drawings anywhere for any of there stuff not sure why:( Thank you.
Is it possible to remove or unscrew the red color metals (front and inside) from the case itself and repainted it and put it back again? I don't like the color red and prefers neon green though.
The fact that you can't mount a 280mm AIO radiator-first is a really dumb decision by NZXT as mounting it that way has significant benefits for dust management. Also, I don't understand why it doesn't support two 3.5" drives, there is certainly room for a dual drive cage next to the power supply. The awkward 120mm top vent looks bad too, completely exposes the fan mount and breaks the clean top. I wish they'd just skipped it and stuck with front to back airflow. Just small flaws here and there, but enough to make you question the huge price tag.
I don't get this size of case for ITX. Yes you have some nice expandability, but if you wanted that, you might as well go for an mATX version that is a whole 2pcie slot taller.
I have been using rgb strips in builds for 4 years now . I get off ebay and just connect to the psu and you have your own remote and no shite software . I love the case but not the crap NZXT put inside
Bloody hell! There's a brand new Asus ROG Strix Vega 64 OC here in the Philippines for only 27000 PHP (500 USD). Too bad. What Radeon card did you put in there?
Not too bad, but i'd still want, what the Gamer's Nexus called H200d(D for dumb). That module is stupid and almost insultingly inept, while mining you for information. I wonder, how much cheaper(or more expensive, with the "alleged" sale of information) it would be without the module?
@@OC3D Thanks for your reply but can IT fit a 2.5 card? I could Not find any information about the max hight Just about the length.( The gpu would be the rtx 2080 evga twin Fan)
I Like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Thank you for your Videos in 2017 and i looking forward to your videos in 2018 Take Care & God Bless you REPLY
This comment is gold. I have that card and was thinking of getting this case. Wanted to mount a 240 aio cpu cooler in the front with the rad from the 1080ti in the rear or top. Are you saying it deffo wont fit then?
It will not work with any aio rad 240 or 280 with normal fans, the FTW hybrid is too long. If you get any reference style hybrids it does work. I got the EVGA sc2 hybrid with a 280mm nzxt cooler in the front and the GPU rad in the back. The top of the case is for fans only, the CPU block and RAM will block a rad.
