O.J. Simpson posted from Vegas on Super Bowl weekend in what would be his last public message before his passing at 76. Today, his family revealed O.J.’s death to the world from cancer, just two months after he announced his diagnosis.
Yeah, I was 18 when this happened. I'm now about the same age as OJ was back then, late 40s. Back then I thought 35 year old Nicole Brown Simpson was an "older lady", 35 looks young now to me! Haha, time has gone.

I just feel bad for Ron Goldman who wasn’t even involved in all that mess going on between OJ and Nicole, he just happened to he in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I moved to Las Vegas from California in late September 2021. I was seated in the back of the plane when the stewardess remarked to me "We have a killer onboard" She wasn't even discreet about it. OJ was seated up front making friendly with the surrounding passengers.

OJ was definitely a narcissist, but anyone who has cancer has to be positive in order to deal with the illness and feel better about your chances for survival.

@@MaryJenkins-wi8oe I didn't say he did. That being said, I think he did it based on the preponderance of the evidence. Even multiple jurors who convicted him said they thought he was guilty, they just thought they couldn't convict on the case the prosecution presented.
In the end he is most well known as the guy who got away with murder after a slo-mo police chase in a white Bronco. Sad legacy to leave when he had so much more going for him at one time.

And he was found civilly liable in a court of law. In the criminal trial one of the jurors said they knew he was guilty but the not guilty verdict was payback for Rodney King and another juror gave the black power sign to OJ right after the verdict. Pathetic.
The murder trial erased everything good he achieved in life. The name O.J. Simpson does not make people think of his solid football/ sportscasting/acting careers. Instead, the name O.J. Simpson is a link back to 1994. The murders of Nichole and Ron...The infamous white Bronco chase followed by the trail of the century. Simpson's legacy is he got away with murder. His death is not an occasion to mourn the passing of a celebrity icon. It has become a time of reflection on the brutal crimes he committed, a time to remember the lives of his victims. RIP for them. The same cannot be said for O.J. The only people who are morning his passing are his family. The rest of the world could care less. Perhaps the end of O.J.'s life is a fitting punishment, a better fate than what he would have gotten had he lost the murder trial. He died a broken, mostly forgotten, disgraced individual reduced to making poor man's social media videos for a handful of followers. While his passing was certainly unexpected it will be the last time he gets this kind of widespread public attention.
