Chemical Bonding is the MOST important topic in the whole 'O'-level syllabus because it builds up the foundation for other topics.
Both simple molecular structures and giant molecular structures are covalent molecules. However, there are much more extensive covalent bonds in giant molecular structures than simple molecular structures which contributes to the difference in their properties like Mp/Bp, state at room temperature, solubility, and electrical conductivity.
